The Press Tent will be a feature on TGC Tours where you can come in after a round or tournament and answer some questions from the press. You can let off some steam or tell about some great (or not so great) shots. Some of your answers will be used in Tournament recaps. Have fun, keep it clean! Questions (answer as many or as few as you like) - What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
- What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
- What did you think of the course?
- How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
- Ask your own question and answer it!

A little fun. After not having his proper clubs throughout the entirety of Q-School, Brian Mann says he is ready to go now. In a exclusive, sit down interview, we asked Brian's thoughts on the Q-School and the upcoming 2015 season. Interviewer: "+25 finish at the 2014 TGC Tours Q-School. What went wrong?" Brian Mann: "Well first if all, I didn't have my correct clubs. They were shipped off to Tunisia or something. So I had to pull out some old Lynx Cougar set that were laying around instead of my custom fit Callaways. Huge problem. Second of all, my caddy was with my golf clubs so I had to use some guy that was selling t-shirts just outside the gates of Mt. Yeti. A horrible experience to say the least. It just went downhill from there." I: "How long were they missing for?" BM: "Well over a month. I couldn't very well practice with the Lynx Cougar set. I thought the Callaways would be back in time for Q-School. Obviously they weren't. So I had to go cold turkey, without hitting a ball for over a month, with a set of crap clubs." I: "So you are saying that if you had the proper clubs and practice, you would of qualified for the PGA Tour?" BM: "Well, there were some tough courses at Q-School, so I am not sure about that, but I would of shot a hell of a lot better than +25." I: "Now that you have everything in order, what are your goals for the upcoming Web.com Tour?" BM: "Win 3 events and move up to the PGA Tour. I am now hitting it consistently in practice rounds, most recently a 61 at Powderfinger G.C. close to my home here in Phoenix, AZ. My putting feels right and I am hitting all of my drives and irons solid. Can only go up from here. There is some strong competition here, but I don't think I had my 'A' game with my inferior clubs and inexperienced caddy." I: "Well, good luck to you this following season and take better precautions with your clubs." BM: "Thanks and that I will do for sure."

What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
I think the highlight of my tourney would be finally getting over the nerves and shooting a good final round.
What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
lowlight was Shooting was the two middle rounds. Just sprayed the ball over the place. Burned a lot of edges putting and made too many mental mistakes.
What did you think of the course?
course played well, though a little tougher in winds. Make your shots and make your score, that simple, Was a little disapointed as the conditions were good for scoring.
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
Not trying to beat anyone, just want nice competitive scores and watch how it plays out. With 150 more people to play I am just hoping that -30 will be enough to get in the top 10.
And thanks for all the hard work the people here at TGCT put in for the players. Good luck to all.

- I think the highlight of my tourney would be climbing/clawing back to -14 after winds died down. 72/72/65/65
- What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
- lowlight was Shooting even par 72 first two rounds (winds 13-19 mph)
- What did you think of the course?
- course played well, though a little tougher in winds. Make your shots and make your score, that simple
- How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
- Not trying to beat anyone, just want nice competitive scores and watch how it plays out. Think -14 will stand in upper 50%?

•What was the highlight of your round/tournament? The highlight of my 1st round was being able to land in the fairway off the 1st tee and not shank it into the woods. •What was the low-light of your round/tournament? I don't know where to begin really, I struggled a lot after the 1st hole. My putting fell apart right away and I was not able to gaged the wind very well to keep my ball in fairway or green. •What did you think of the course? The course is perfect. Nice balance throughout the course. Definitely a favorite of mine no matter how I shoot. •How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat? I'm not really concerned about the leaderboard and placement just yet. I'm just challenging myself to keep the ball in play and give myself birdie opportunities.

************ BREAKING NEWS!!!*************** We are joined by Jules Powell after we catched up with him after reports from patrons, claimed to have seen his putter literally on fire. We followed him thru the back 9 where he reeled off 8 straight birdies to close his round!! One patrol actually lighting his cigar from the end of his shaft! incredible scenes!! Jules, great to see some smiles after the disappointment of qschool. What was going on out there? ---- Well, after some early nerves something just clicked. I probably practiced round 'old beaver creek' more then anyone and think it payed off in the end! We saw you missed the green at the tricky par 3 #16th and still made birdie? ------ yeah tried to take some off my 5 wood but it wasnt enough so took some time to study the green and then nailed the chip and my fist pump to keep my birdie streak going! How did the course play and what do you expect from the rest of the field? ------- The course was playing very fair. The breeze was strong on the front nine but still birdies aplenty for the big boys on this tour. I expect someone to post sub 60. What are your goals for the rest of the tournament? -----Making the cut is the first step. Then hopefully moving day i can head in the right direction. Dont think i can realistically challenge at the top but a nice payout will go along way to kick starting my season! Well thanks for joining us, well done for that 62 today and all the best for the rest of the week, hopefully get to speak to you at the weekend!! ----thanks alot and yeah hopefully if the putter stays hot!!

What was the highlight of your round/tournament? walking off 18 ... and pondering why I missed 3 birdie putts and 3 par putts over 3 glasses of beer ...
What was the low-light of your round/tournament? Missing those Par putts ... argh ...
What did you think of the course? With the wind, it was a bear ... started off with 9 mph ... midway ... I was facing 17 Mph head winds and after 15 it was back to the 7 to 9 MPH range.
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Well, I was one of the earlybirds ... so there are plenty of scores yet to be posted, but considering how I played, I am happy to start the tourney, 3 under ...
Who were you trying to beat? Nobody in particular ... Mainly I am out just to beat myself ... I am my biggest competitor ... It's always a mind game out there, and when you look at the leader board after every hole --- it plays on the psyche ... so, I just try to make par and keep the boogie man away ...

What was the highlight of your first round?
That would have to be finishing under par. I managed to match my practice round score of -2 so I was happy with a solid start to the tournament with plenty of pars.
What was the low-light of your first round?
I had a small patch where I didn't hit the ball well and was a bit wayward landing short of the green a couple of holes in a row. I also struggled with the putter a little and missed a few putt so hopefully in the next couple of rounds I can get that dialled in and capitalise on the birdie opportunities.
What did you think of the course?
The course is fantastic and expecting it could be very challenging in some high winds.
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
Judging from the early scores I have seen I will have to improve in my second round if want to make the cut. Making the cut is definitely my first goal on the tour so fingers crossed I can do enough tomorrow to get across the line.

A live interview with the evidently frustrated Jake Marvin after finishing up at Old Beaver Creek.
Interviewer: What was the highlight of your tournament? Marvin: Well, I suppose the near albatross on 9 and the subsequent tap-in eagle. It was perfect metaphor for my tournament, so close to greatness so many times, but I just kept falling short.
I: What didn't go so well for you? M: Pretty much everything else. I learned during Q-School I needed more consistency, but I went out and played consistently bad. So many lip-outs and putts that stopped right on the cusp of the hole. The breaks I thought I knew really well from practice rounds as low as -13 seemed totally different. On the first hole of the second round, a screaming fan ran at me and tackled me into the lake. I was pretty much waterlogged the rest of the day, and I realized things just weren't going to go my way this week.
I: How was the course? M: Despite my struggles, I must admit Old Beaver Creek is fantastic. The designers put together a really lifelike track that is somewhat challenging, but manageable for all.
I: How do you think you will finish on the leaderboard? M: Hopefully not too bad. It's hard to say where the cut will be, but after my week, I can only hope to make the cut and score a little cash on the money list. I was really disappointed because I was aiming to match my +12 handicap (which has now fallen to +8) and shoot -48, which would have put me in contention. Unfortunately, I barely got halfway there with my -26. Anyways, my new swing coach and I are off to Westchester, see you next week!

What was the highlight of your first round?
The front nine really treated me well. Shooting a -4 including three birdies and an eagle really gave me the confidence to attack the back 9.
What was the low-light of your first round?
Unfortunately the confidence gained after the front 9 was a bit too much. Recording only two birdies was not enough after two 3 putts for bogeys yielding an even par on the back 9.
What did you think of the course?
Course conditions were perfect. Winds between 3 and 7 mph game me every opportunity to attack the pins.
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
Looking at the leader board, I wish I could have a few putts back. Making the cut is my first priority.

Well what a rolacoaster that was week 1 over hoping to make the cut after allowed nerves to take over rd1 with par 72 . Hoping to have rescue it enough rd 2 with a 65 . Confidence was high then went on to shoot 62 in rd 3 . Witch got me little excited cos I was currently in top 10 off the leaderboard ( early days I no ) thinking ide pulled of a great rescue mission went into last rd over confident witch resulted in very humbling 70 . All in all -19 hoping my -7 is enough to make the cut and then see what my final score nets me. Good luck to all.
High points : deffo my -10 beat my pb for this corse by 1
Low points : rd 1&4 I no I can do lot better than these rds ( allowed pressure to kick in )
The course: probally one off the best courses in game like how u can very easily birdie or bogie every hole with one good or bad shot . Hats off to the course designer

What was the highlight of your round/tournament? Starting with two straight birdies.
What was the low-light of your round/tournament? I can't remember the hole but I was four under par and shot an eight (+4) and left the hole even par for the tournament.
What did you think of the course? Very nice course. If winds are calm you can shoot some low scores. If you get high winds 8+ like I did it can be tough.
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat? Ended round one even par so I will need a great second round to make the cut. I was trying to match my practice rounds where I was able to shoot -8 and -9 on a couple of them. Now I am just trying to make the cut. Didn't think I would be even par after round one.
