The Press Tent will be a feature on TGC Tours where you can come in after a round or tournament and answer some questions from the press. You can let off some steam or tell about some great (or not so great) shots. Some of your answers will be used in Tournament recaps. Have fun, keep it clean! Questions (answer as many or as few as you like) - What was the highlight of your round/tournament?
- What was the low-light of your round/tournament?
- What did you think of the course?
- How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat?
- Ask your own question and answer it!

Could I suggest you consider a separate Press Tent for each and every event that we have? This will get VERY large if you combine the entire season in one thread.
Your thoughts?

Okay here's what not to do when playing a tournament. Normally on the weekends I get up and go to a local diner for breakfast, then I come home and play some golf. I found that normally the winds are typically lower in the mornings. (Have no facts to back this up) First mistake, decide to play golf first, sadly I have no patience. Yes the wind was low. I played 3 practice rounds in the past week under these conditions and avg 12 under. My goal was to shot between 45 -50 under. My first 2 rounds went as plan and that was even with leaving at least 4 or 5 putts out there. 13 & 11 under , 24 under at the half way point. 2nd mistake should of gone and ate breakfast but the winds were still low. Started off with a birdie but shorty after that things went bad a miss short putt, then out of nowhere 3 bad 90% in a row. I was furious. Should've stop but I didn't Another bad decision , when the round was over I only shot 5 under, 29 under and 16 strokes behind the current leader. Even though I've never shot 16 under at this course its do able. Should had stop and play the last round later. Yes another mistake decided to get it over instead. The wind was still low. I played too aggressive. I was still 10 under through 16 but 39 under and I wasn't happy. I told myself I must shot at least 40 under. Now you know I'm crazy if I don't think 39 under is acceptable. Lol Went flag hunting on 17. You can guess what happen. Double bogey then a bogey on 18 left me at a disappointing 36 under. Good news though I went and had a nice breakfast with my son. Congrats Disturbed932 on your 45 under that score has a good chance to win the ps4 side and who knows maybe the whole thing. Good luck to Bradley (blueorfe)

I don't mean any disrespect to scores in the 30's or less under. For me shooting 9 & 10 under is very easy for me. 36 under was bad for me especially since all 4 rounds the wind was low (2-6). Me being inpatient got to me. Disturbed932 took a play out of my play book and posted a low score first. I think it's an advantage to get a low score up first. Since he beat me to the punch. I should've taken my time playing my rounds and not rush them all in. Now I've got a whole week to sit and do nothing. I love competition and video golf games is one thing I'm very good at. Very disappointed in myself this week. Good thing is we as a community just got blessed with a fabulous renditions of the Master's this week. Also thanks to the people that run this thing at the tgc. Your giving this old man something to look forward to every week. I love golf and everything that has to do with golf.

i was expecting you to be around -50 and was shocked when you said -36.

I'll say what Tiger says lately: it's a process. Lol. I hired my new swing "consultant" Chris Como to help me out.
I'm sure Bradley will have three rounds sub 60 and hit -50 Doyley as well
As I said in another post, I had two 95% approach shots and a 95% tee shot on par 3 that led to my 3 bogeys for the week. The thing is, I even hesitated because my thumb didn't feel right on the stick

You have come on here acting as if you are the best in the world and comments generally come across as a teenager instead of a 50 year old MAN. Hopefully this week is a reality check for you. You disrespect the PS4 players stating that 2 of us had a chance for the TOC with you being one of them. Fact of the matter this week is you won't come close.
I shot -32 this morning and I don't claim to be great or will I.

My problem is I'm so excited to play theses because I feel I can win. That I find myself rushing through them. No need for me to play all 4 in one setting. Even though I score well in the first 2 rounds , I didn't putt well, I should've stop and finish later but even though I'm 50 I act like a kid. Lol Had to finish now. I know would've could've should've .
