Anyone getting Civ6? Looks a lot like Civ4 again which is a good thing in my mind.

Anyone getting Civ6? Looks a lot like Civ4 again which is a good thing in my mind. Have had it pre-ordered for awhile now ... I bought beyond earth with high expectations and I was majorly disappointed. I hope VI doesn't disappoint. I have been playing a bunch of hours in civ5 to stay up in current strategy. But, not sure if I am looking forward to a huge learning curve ... it's getting harder for this old dog to learn new tricks. |

I'll be waiting on reviews. Still play IV to this day, but disliked V quite a bit and barely ever played it.

Yea, civ 4 was good ... I didn't like Civ 5 in the beginning, but it grew on me ... now I can't go back ... and tomorrow VI goes live. and I can't play it as I have a tee time @ 1:00 ... and work saturday ... so I will only get a teaser session in.

Yea, civ 4 was good ... That's my problem with Civ...I start playing at 10pm with the intent to stop at 11pm and go to bed, next thing I know it's 3:30am

Well ... initial play thought is it is going to take time to adjust to it.
I am sort of on the fence about it.
But, I like it more than how I felt about beyond earth ...

Man, between Civ VI out now, TGC, FIFA, and NHL, I don't know what to do. I don't have time to play all these games between the kid and wife! And im not even counting Battlefield, which I pre-ordered. Too many games!!

Think this game is going to take a serious toll on my tgct career. Haven't played a civ since losing my life to civ 3 years ago, and despite only being one march in, seems like this will be the same
