The Golf Club @ Gull Island Bird Sanctuary has finally opened its doors.
After months of negotiations with owner/designer of Seagull Isle Golf Links, The plans were sketched out and then finalized.
The end results was a shorter 7268 yard, par 72, sister course created on an small island high in the the sierra foothills of the Mother Lode Country. It is located on one of the many lakes and reservoirs found in this region.
The TGC @ Gull Island is a private club and it's whereabouts is held unknown to even most of the local residents of the area.
Take pleasure that you are one of the few chosen to receive an invitation, to enjoy this high country, Boreal themed, pristine beauty.

I think this is his best work to date, I hate doing reviews as I feel like I'm being overly picky. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to put together a nice track like this and knowing this makes me want to always reward the effort with highest marks. However in the spirit of trying to be as accurate as possible here you go. I hope you don't feel offended with the negative comment. Good job well done.
I gave this a 4.5 here and an 8 in game and left the following review.
Very well done course. Nice track, very playable in all wind conditions.
Cons. Looking at land border on some holes, and at least 1 uneven tee block. However that is being overly picky, this course would of gotten a 5 from me were it not for those 2 small issues.
I highly recommend giving this track a go.
Edit: I regret not commenting on the great bunker work, I like that fairway style and excellent lighting as well.

As a matter of fact, I like hearing both pros and cons ... It's all in the manner how it's done ...
To say a course sucks, and rate it low - not saying why is bad as saying a course is great without saying why ...
Does nothing in providing "valuable" feedback. Just build up,or tear down a designers desire ... but not knowing why? sucks ...

When i first played it, it seemed ok. Last night took ages to load, ran jerky & when I'd finished had like graphics corruption on the scorecard.
Shame cos its a gorgeous looking course.
PS4 btw

I have played this 2/3 times the more I play it the more I like it, I think mainly it just has the same character through out the whole course
I would give 3.5/3.75 out 5 stars

Finally got to play your Seagull rework DDawg.....
Loaded almost instantly & not a hint of lag (PC)....
Finished 2 under par in medium winds (5 - 12 mph)...
Looks beautiful in the Boreal theme & the adjustments you made...
Hope they put it on the Web.com Tour....
Submitted a 4.5 review... if you can get several more of the holes to "pop" your looking at a 5 star.

I'm wanting to play this but haven't been able to load it up at all on the ps4 nor has a friend of mine as we'd like to have a hit if your course.
Tried a few times the last week until the online issues.
Ah well
