Could be worse, you could be a Chargers fan. I still can't believe they blew that huge lead to KC. Dolphins have a lot of upside imo. I think you can expect a playoff appearance this year as long as they keep their heads straight. The loss to Seattle was bitter but they proved they can hang with a team like that. That's the important thing they need to take away from that game. and build on it. This week's game against New England will tell us alot about them. And no team should ever have to start the season against Seattle and NE back to back. That's brutal lol. And both on the road! Cincinnati away in week 4 too, not much easier. You're more confident than most Dolphins fans, a team starts with its O line and Miami's has been terrible for years. Arian Foster is bound to get injured at some point which will mean no running game at all, and while I'm one of the few who likes Tannehill he isn't an Andrew Luck who can carry an offence on his own. I think they'll do well to go 6-10, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. The wheels seemed to fall off the Chargers when Allen got hurt. He has no luck. On a side note, my tickets for the Redskins Bengals game at Wembley came through yesterday Awesome giraffe. At least it's not too bad of a game of either. Its always been my suspicion that when Khan bought the Jags that they were slowly getting ready to move that franchise over there. How'd you become a Dolphins fan anyway?

There are a lot of Dolphins fans over here because when it first came on our telly (around 1983/84) Dan Marino was the main man. A lot of 49ers (Montana) and Bears (The Fridge) fans from those days too. Myself, I lived in the States as a kid in Charleston SC from 80-83 cos my Dad was in the RAF on exchange. Great experience for an 8 year old and American Football was the first sport I really got in to. Watched a game between the St Louis Cardinals and the Dolphins which finished 20-7 to Miami (still remember it!), and they became my team! Those were the days of Don Strock and the Killer B Defense, a few years before Marino came along. I also vividly remember the playoff shootout between Dan Fouts' Chargers and the Dolphins which finished something like 41-38 to SD, one of the greatest games ever, look it up if you're too young I was lucky when we came back that it coincided with starting on telly here so i never lost touch. Got all my friends in to it and we'd play two hand touch in the street, Wiltshire had never seen the like! It's always had a dedicated fanbase over here but definitely massively increasing in popularity now. I know they're not universally popular over there but we LOVE the International Series games

The people and more importantly misternic have spoken. The NY Jets is the pick paying $19.09. Let's hit this one!

That's a win!! We'll be able to bet $19.09 next week. Soon we'll have enough money to buy the "Elites" their own tour.

All right. Can we go two in a row? Should we let the $19.09 ride or split it up?
Houston Texans (-1) vs New England Patriots (+1)
Lets hear it!

Pats +1. Sure they are starting a QB nobody knows, but they are a system team, and their D will neutralize the Texas who look to have simplified their offense for an ASU QB who is showing some major flaws. Pats win this matchup.

Tough, tough game. I'm not sure I'm betting this in real life but if I was forced to make a choice, it would reluctantly be the Texans. But man, the Patriots with their way of making any QB productive, is really tough to go against. Texans success will depend on their defense being able to protect against Edelman's crossing routes, Gronk streaks (if he plays a significant # of play) and containing the edge against the outside runs. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few HB and TE screen plays. Tough to run against Houston up the middle with Watt and a healthy Clowney.
A close Texan win or a Patriot blow out...? No idea... haha.

I'm getting -1 for the Pats now on bet365. The voting is tied...all 4 of them lol. Thought this might get a little bit more participation, but no big deal. So we'll let this ride until we see reason to cash out or lose, then I'll probably quit updating this. We can just use this to talk gambling the rest of the year....So still a few more hours for the deadlocked vote to be broken.
