If you know anything about College Football, you can probably assume I'm an LSU Tiger fan from my name. Graduated from there a few years back. Any who, I'll be making the trip up to Wisconsin for the LSU / Wisconsin game at Lambeau this upcoming weekend. Pretty excited for that alone. Here's the best part...
I'll be playing the following courses leading up to the weekend:
- Cog Hill #4 Dubsdread in Chicago, IL on Wednesday. ( www.coghillgolf.com/Dubsdread ) - Whistling Straits (Straits course) in Kohler, WI on Thursday ( www.americanclubresort.com/golf/whistling-straits/the-straits ) - Black Wolf Run (Meadow Valleys Course) in Kohler, WI on Friday ( www.americanclubresort.com/golf/blackwolf-run/the-meadow-valleys )
All of these are in the Top 100 courses, with Whistling Straits landing at #4. I'm a 6 handicap, but even then I fully expect these courses to tear me up. Ha! I'm beyond excited to play Whistling Straits barely a year after it hosted the PGA Championship. Any of you played any of these courses? I'll try to take some pictures and post them later. Wooooooo!

I don't even golf, but I would be envious to just walk along on these courses.
Look forward to your report back.

Sounds amazing. I can't get under 100 so I'd love to see what I would get at whistling straits or any of the others for that matter. Enjoy!

Very jealous. Let us know what you shoot and which was your favourite course.

I'm probably too late but if possible get on the river course. Its probably my favorite course ive ever played. You'll love the others though and the straits is an absolute treat, and beast. I'm about a 6 as well and shot an even 100 from the tips. If you have extra time Erin Hills is no joke either.

Cool! Whistling Straits is going to be an amazing Ryder Cup venue in four years time. I do think it's an odd choice though, being almost a Scottish style links course, not the target golf your lot are used to Let us know how it goes. I played Celtic Manor last year (it's only about 45 minutes drive from here) and that was an experience! Glad I took some extra golf balls!
