Thank you crazycanuck1985 for the review Long Ball Hitter's Dream, Putters' Nightmare Pros
- The little things are done right here: Good contouring, fairway/rough ribboning. -Interesting and varied hazards. - Nice wide, accepting fairways. -Great use of water
Cons -Greens were much too severely sloped, left for some borderline unfair putts. Too much "red" - Some of the greens were a bit on the large side compared to others. -Some lackluster finishing holes (#18 finished in the middle of nowhere it seemed)
Verdict- If you want to drive for show and putt for dough..Bent Tree Lodge is the place to go. 7/10 Recommended Bent Tree Lodge by drivert. Full Review at or

I want to provide some advice on this course for anyone interesting in trying it. I built the greens with the thought of a major championship venue in mind and I put areas on the greens that would reward shots into those areas and penalize shots that were not hit into the correct area of the greens. Unfortunately it takes course knowledge to correctly position the ball on the greens. I may make a video that describes each hole and my thoughts on how to play it. I may also make another version that is friendly on the greens. Either way I think this course turned out beautiful and very interesting.

I played this with two others who I find I generally agree on their likes and dislikes for courses. They did not like your course mostly for the reason of the greens, I did agree in some parts but I looked closer and did notice what you describe regarding parts of the green to target and I got what you were doing.
Not for everyone maybe but I liked it.

Reworked with friendlier greens new name is Bent Tree
Bent Tree by drivert. Full Review at or
Solid Rebuild
Pros - Greens were much improved from Bent Tree 1.0. Challenging, but fair. - Most holes I consider to be "very good". Kept me interested the entire round. - Nice wide, sweeping fairways.
Cons - Some planting around some water hazards is needed to make that part of the course "pop" - A few "so so" holes (#17 to name one) - A couple holes that might be considered unfair if given a strong tailwind with the water.
Verdict- A nice rework by drivert. An improvement over Bent Tree 1.0. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with in future projects. Give it a play! 7.5/10 Recommended
