So I ditched the two 980's and got a MSI 1070 Sea Hawk EK X. It is much more powerful than the 980's in SLI which is impressive. I upgraded to the Rampage Extreme Edition 10 Motherboard.

I also added two Samsung SM961 256GB M.2 drives. Some amazing benchmarks with these.

What does it mean for Golf? Just a much steadier 100FPS throughout the round. 99-100FPS is the max my (3440x1440) monitor can go. The previous setup would be fine for most courses but even then it would be between 70-100FPS. This is rock solid, with no stutter period.

It also looks awesome when watercooled! Just need to clean up some wires and tidy up the rest.
