Daily 1 Round Tournaments AND Weekly No Grid Tournaments

Part 1:
I have a simple suggestion for you guys.

Set up each day a 1 round tournament on a random course using either the official courses or the suggested courses or whatever courses you want.

this tourny would not gain any points in the overall standings, but could be used as just bragging rights and to keep those of us that have finished our real rounds busy with something extra to do.

Part 2:
Doyley did a great job at running the True Sim Tour,  and some of us really enjoy the no-grid tournys,  is it possible to run a no-grid style weekly tourny (again, that does not effect the official tgc tours leaderboards) that me, thrangar and the rest of us that enjoy these can keep on trying to beat par.



by choosing to run part 1, it would and could help keep some excitement to look forward to each new day/week,  we (the end user) could keep track at how many daily tournys we win or finish top 10 and just add it to our sig or something for bragging rights.

just and idea or two.



I remember playing TWO,  and these daily and weekly tournys were really the only thing that keep me coming back to the game,  the individual club tours and the official dailys.  its a shame this game does not have longest drive and closest to pin contests on each course/hole, as that would add even more fun to the equation .

I'm sure Doyley will reply to this at some point but I'll say what I know. And that is that TruSim is a possibility at some point down the line. But we are focused on getting the main tours up and running strong so it's a long term possibility at best.

As for the first one, I'll leave that to the tournament director.

I would be keen for the weekly no grid 4 round golf tournie. I think Doyley has enough on his plate what with admin duties and trying to be the best golfer on earth hehe

For the record - we're not against bringing back the True Sim Tour here to run along side the Executive Tour as an extra event people can participate in - there's just one minor addition to the game that needs to happen: The ability to publish an event across all platforms at once. That would simplify the process immensely. As it stands we're going with the current crop of tours until it becomes easier to organize across the three systems.

I was just starting to get the hang of the no grids, shot the course record at bavaro no grid as well. That was some lucky arse round of golf. TGC tours is not likely going to support these as, let's face it, participation was pretty sparse.

I would support these by playing in them occasionally if someone gave them a go.
