I just want to give an update on the qualifying tournament for the lone Canadian player. It has been a great competition between the top two players, and although there are still around 24 hours remaining, I think it is highly unlikely that the current leader will be overtaken.
Current Leaderboard
Jeff McPhee. - 32 Damon Lowenburger. - 31 Brodie Nelson. - 21 Colin Flowerdew. - 17 Jim McCarthy. - 15

The qualifying tournaments deadline is Wednesday 3rd August at 9am EST. There are still 7 players left to play their rounds across all the relevant states.

I might of missed it but have you put any thought as to how this will play out for balance in scoring? For example if Team Indiana was playing Team Texas and Indiana has CC-E players and Texas has Web or Tour players...it seems fairly obvious who should come out on top. I realize this is just for fun and I just want to play additional courses and meet new people regardless of the outcome. I was wondering how even the mix was per state in terms of skill levels.

There is really nothing that can be done about this. It is not like other tournaments were you can seed players so it is a bit more balanced. However, it looks like there is a pretty good mix of abilities across most teams. For sure there are a few teams that seem quite strong, and others a little weak, but hopefully each team will win a reasonable amount of matches.

No problem. Was just curious. Gives us lower players some big targets to take out for the upset special. Looking forward to it.

The Michigan team is looking pretty balanced and strong. I hope I'm on it, haha!
