Unlucky staypuft39... such a great entry. Was stunning visually and certainly had many of us worried and for very good reason. The judges had a tough job . Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff, and I'm certain it will be a tour stop. Congrats hershalcrustofsk and @griff... an excellent battle so far, nervously excited for tomorrow night now . Glad to hear Ola is going to be on the show, will be good

A big congratulations is in order as the reveal of Selke at no.4 means that we have a top 3 containing Andilly Hills, Cackalacky Plantation and Stisted Hall as our top 3 and thus making the Web.com finals. The winner along with 2nd and 3rd place will be revealed tomorrow on TGCTLive! Stay tuned! Also get cracking on those multipins A big thank you also goes to all the contestants in this competition. Brilliant work! It's been a blast and much more difficult than I could ever have imagined!

staypuft39 this is one of my favorite courses ever in the game, I wondered the same thing for multi-pinning as I played it (but didn't know if it was going to costly or not as tweaks can always be made). The layout and the visuals are just stunning and it's certainly one of the most unique courses in the game. It's not often I play courses more than once if it's not a tour event, or one of my own but this one I've now played twice and will certainly be back.

Best of luck to pyates and @griff should be an interesting show tomorrow night! Same to you, Hershel, and congrats on the top 3. I never expected to make it this far in the competition, but really looking forward to tomorrow night. I honestly thought I was looking at 4th place after yesterday, so today is a pleasant surprise. You and pyates are tough outs, so really going to enjoy hearing the judges comment on the final 3. Good luck and congrats on a job well done, fellas.

Pro: Honestly, this course missing out on a top 3 breaks my heart. Matt is only new to the designer and his development since Stadium creek to Selke Park is outstanding. The course was stunning, the views were amazing and the skyline is IMO the best mounding done by anyone in the game. Technical work all around was spot on. The course played like a dream, tough but fair. In its current set up it's brilliant and on top of that it gave a great test and made you play the terrain dialling in wasn't a option. Smart golf and course management was the order for the day. Matt there is a tournament with your name on it and I think this course should host it. Week 8 Stay Puft Marshmallow Classic in Web maybe? Con: "Moe you sound like your trousers are getting tight, so why isn't this in the top 3?" The Major downfall had me screaming at the tv when it was pointed out! A lot of the greens slope front to back which makes multipinning a potential issue. The main discussion was if it was multipinned in its current state, would it work? We deemed it would have to use softened set ups which would kill some of the difficulty and would render it unsuitable for the Web Finals. Softening up for a regular stop would be fine but for a finals would lower the difficulty to much we think. Summary: Matt your greens were your downfall and we can't judge by the greens you 'could have built'. We loved this course and I had it as an immediate favourite. Excellent course that will get on tour no doubt. Just let me reiterate. In its current set up holding greens is not an issue. It plays great, but trying to get a 4 pin set up while maintaining the difficulty and fairness would be an issue. Thanks so much to Moe and the other judges for the kind words. As the days went by, I really started dreading that this was where I was destined to end up, ha ha. Very proud of the course I created but, looking at how courses are being set-up these days across the tours, I definitely erred in planning for 2 medium firmness days (even though I thought the greens were sufficiently nasty, he he). As I said in my course thread, I planned for these 4 days of conditions: Firm-Med.Fast Med-Med Med-Med.Fast Firm-Fast Hurts to be eliminated for trying to give the web guys a break on 2 setups, but it is what it is. Web tries to prepare golfers for the PGA and Euro, and based on what we've seen lately, firm is most certainly what those pro tours are all about, so that's on me. Nothing worse than trying to make a course play firm for 4 days when it was not designed for it (has happened way too much on tour and I hate it)...so I would have been pained if that's what happened to my course. Really hoping I get a tour stop with this one (and yes Moe, the Stay Puft Classic would be perfect, ha ha), as I would love to put together those 4 days of varying conditions. I think it would be a good test. Thanks so much to you guys for putting this on, and a huuuuuuuuge congrats to our 3 winners (who I also had pegged as the top 4 along with me, heh). Chris, Chris and Patrick, some great courses you guys and much-deserved winners!

I will have the bubble course posted this morning hopefully but before I get the blurb done I would just like to thank all the designers for your submissions but expecially the top 4 as we had such a hard time separating them . I would also like to thank Ola and Seth for all there help this wouldn't of been as enjoyable without them! And honestly I've enjoyed this so much I think I will organise another comp with a twist in the not so distant future . Remember to tune in for the results show tgctlive featuring Ola to see the top 2 courses played out Any hints on your new contest?
