Wonder what people's thoughts are of lofting the LW, SW, PW or using an iron pitch when you are in 60-100 yard range?
If wind is high would think pitch would offer more control since it is a lower trajectory shot but also has more roll.

I prefer pitch over lofting. Look at your green slopes...it'll give you the best answer

The slope of the green will dictate the type of shot. If the green is sloped away, the I will play a normal shot. If the green is sloped towards me, I'll pitch it to avoid having the ball roll backwards and down the hill.
Also, I prefer a normal shot when greens are firm. Long pitches tend to bounce forward and roll quite a bit on firm greens.
I don't worry too much about wind. I've learned how to handle wind for both shots.
