We've had multiple reports across all systems of members not being able to complete W38 due to a black screen bug most likely caused by the Winter theme. This is the first time we've used the winter theme in a tour setting and were not aware of the issues we'd run into.
Since this affects many users across all three platforms we have decided to cancel this week's event and have it an off week.
1. We will clear all submitted scores
2. We will remove this event from the schedule
3. Sponsor exemptions can be carried over to W39 (please email commish@tgctours.com to ensure this happens)
Apologize for the inconvenience. HB has said they cannot fix it without a patch so it won't be fixed before the cut on Thursday.

Dang it! I was in the Top 25 for once after 2 rounds! I did not encounter that bug, but had not played the last 2 rounds, maybe it was in my future.
I suggest you send the prize money to the Greenbriar, they could probably use it.

I've never seen a black screen bug with Winter theme. What does this bug do? When you stop playing in the 2nd round and reload the game afterwards amost the entire screen is black. This happened to me during a practice tour. I was at the tee on the 1st hole (friday) and all I could see were some cars in the parking lot (1st time I noticed them, they looked graphically fine), a little piece of my driver (hitting end) and I saw the windows in a building. But since everything else was totally black i looked as I was looking outside of those windows. Before starting my TGCT I wanted to practice the friday 1 more time, I loaded the course (single event) and all was black still.... No problems with my tournement btw. I paused after day 2 and reloaded it succesfully today. I assume this happens only on the friday course. |

Set them up with the Montreux SE version courses with aids on. All the firmnesses are medium on those versions and they can be current with the tour week.
