Only 4 holes in. Published as PRX1234
Trying every new trick I have learned, feedback would be appreciated before I get to deep.
Conditions Medium and Fast.
Yes I know not a fan of fast greens either, but until they let us dial in the firmness better, it's the only way to stop the drop and stop for now.
I'm trying for short as possible, but tough. No long iron or wood approaches, but still tough to birdie but possible and easy to par. 2nd hole will be handicap #1 hole as well, it will not give up many birdies and it's only 400 yards.

I like it! Looks beautiful. If anything the first four holes may be a bit on the easier side for good players without wind...played twice in 3-5 mph winds and shot -3 both times. Think the average player will really enjoy it. The green on 2 is very tricky, hit two perfect shots in there that landed right of the flag and still ended up 20 ft left. Maybe dial the slope down just a little around the pin... but on the other hand with it being a short course the difficulty needs to come from somewhere else. Had to try for the green in two on hole 1...lofted my 5-wood to max but couldn't clear the trees. Saved par though.

I have done a complete makeover, removed most of the trees. Going for a different lighting, but the shadows are huge.
I noticed that about 2 as well, but it's not yellow slope, and the couple times I played it ended up the same 20 feet, never off the green and always stopped so I left it.
Going to need to figure out some kind of defense to keep it short without many trees, without crazy sloped greens and without trampoline greens. Maybe need to take a page out of tastegw book with pins or some between the grids micro slopes I have been thinking about. A course I used to be a member of had micro bumps that you could only see at dusk, maybe see if that works.
Thank you for the feedback.
I'll post 9 when done, I keep going back over it and changing it, may or may not take a while.

The second time I played it I put fade on my approach to #2...landed in about the same spot it only ended up about 6 ft left of the hole. So shaping your shots really help and I think thats a good thing, means you need to think before hitting your shot. Didn't try missing the green right to see what kind of shot I would get from there, think it might be a near impossible chip from above the hole to stop it within those 20ft. But then again, if you miss the green right you've hit a bad shot so maybe that should be punished. I didn't mean it as a bad thing about the trees on 1, I like that not all par 5s are reachable in two. Just that I had to try it. Thought it was a good hole that would give an amateur player pretty much the same chance of birdie as a pro.

I'm getting rid of trees just because of shadows, I'm going for a more dusk lighting theme, but I will leave some like on 1 to block the second shot.
