Well here I go again, subjecting the community to yet another, overdone, over planted golf course.
I'm glad I keep getting a few hundred plays, otherwise i might be inclined to stop doing this, but I just can't stop.
Yeah I have issues, it would seem I see a blank space and cannot resist putting something there, I just cannot help myself.
Yeah my plants and bushes are to big, it's distracting, but i just cannot help myself. I tried my best with this one to keep more stuff on the default size, but you will still get distracted playing this one.
But on the other hand, I am rather proud of myself, I resisted the urge to click publish today.......
I'm going through it ensuring every tee will play, it's been designed for 5 sets of tees, and every condition possible.
Seems to be the norm, that I publish the easiest version first, the back tees are crazy, along the line of the black widow crazy, front tees are only a little harder than little brook. I went for the most versatile design I could. There's 3 different courses here in 1 course. I also went with multiple options on many tees, although no forced draws or fades and trees are only there for decoration and should not get in the way here.
Been at this a very long time, object bar is completely full, but I never touched the mass plant tool once. Had my framerate meter on the entire design and never a single hiccup so I hope this runs smooth for everyone.
This is going to get released soon, as I highly doubt I will be able to resist much longer, only so much tidying I can do. When I grow tired of touching stuff up no one will ever see, I'm sure I'll click publish and go back in the designer and finish up my so many other uncompleted projects including Erin Hills which Crazy C has generously offered to plant.
On to the photos, I'm no karma, have never even seen a photo shop since those little huts in parking lots disappeared many years ago. The lighting is as you will find in game as well.
My Clubhouse.
My first hole, yeah you can bet the house on a waterfall going here as soon as I'm able.
The first of the 4 par 3's. I'm a sucker for over done par 3's on a par 72 course. Likely not the thing to do, but it's just something I need do, I won't stop that ever.
A look at 14 and the tee shot, might be the first time on the course you realize you are playing the Delta theme.
The last of the 4 par 3's.
The par 4 12th.
A look at the 10th green, a ton of risk reward in this full of multiple options on this reachable in 2 short par 5.
Back to the clubhouse on this crazy straightaway par 4. from 460 to 540 yards depending on tee with a nightmare for a green. Par on this puppy will be the score to achieve.
A look at 18, with 10,000 spectators, I hope you can get up the nerve to reach the green in 2 on this reachable par 5.
Another look at the 18th green with the clubhouse in the background.
Well that's it, all of these are subject to change as I tweak my way through this course.
It's been a long slog in the designer on this, I don't have the skills of the greats, but I do try.
Thank you for reading through to the end.
Take care.
