s2w10: The Davies Course

Welcome to Week 10 of Season 2 of the Speed Golf.

This week we're playing The Davies Course at Troon West, by mav78 . It's hot this week, with firm greens and cacti being the order of the day. Someone's painted the grass green at least. This is by no means an easy course, some speed golf strategy will have to be employed in order to get a good score. This is week 10 out of 13 for this season, now's the time to make a late push for the leaderboard.

So decided to jump back into speed golf
Managed to play last weeks and this weeks.
Last week didnt go so well.
Hit -8 pretty quickly on Troon tho.

-6 in 16 min 50ish. Double bogey on 12 really cost me. Had a 5 foot straigh par putt but hit it too hard, over the hole and then rolled and rolled for what seemed like an eternity. Then just short coming back up. Happy with 10 birdies though.

Courses that I feel like half my round time is spent waiting for the ball to stop rolling really takes the fun out of it for me.

Apologies. I hate I when it happens as well. The greens are on the limit as far as being non receptive goes and obviously there must be the odd oversight
