Have seen him here at the Barracuda for the past few years... he smokes his cigarettes and stomps them out on the greens.

I saw Big John for the 1st time about 12 years ago, while he was playing at the BMW International Open in Munich (Germany). Trust me, I'll never forget that.  Saw him two more times after that, and it was always entertainment at its best. |

Best big John time was when I was still working at Muirfield. He would park his RV at the Bogie Inn not far from the course. After his round he'd hang out there just drinking and telling lies with caddies and folks that stopped by. Dude is a hoot to hang with.

I was a caddy for a couple of years. Great times. Made my way up to Honor caddy and got to play a few times as well which was nice. Mondays were the best. Get the |

it was a good time. Learned the game doing that job and watching better players every day. The best day for $$$ was Mondays when the corporate guys would bring their guests out. They didnt' know the course so it was all about coaching them around and reading putts for them. Do a good job? You made some serious CAYSH for 5 hours of work. |
