It seems these adapters will enable users to use a preferred controller on different platforms and assign functions to sticks and buttons. I think we can see what could be done with that.

They are perfectly fine to use as long as you don't lock off an axis. We monitor the swing (white line).

disgusting, just watched a youtube video of the chronus, the dude was showing how it works, then pulled out a sniper rifle with and started firing it with his new rapid fire mod with scope control.....
a new evolution in cheating has arrived i guess.
while i agree the basic functionality has some use (the using xbox controler over ps4 on ps4 or vice versa) but all the extra stuff it does...is not good for the gaming community.

cheats will always find a new way, it is what cheats do unfortunately.

I don't get why someone would want to cheat, never will. Want to use it with Sniper Elite III in single campaign, cool. But when competing with others..it tells me what kind of person someone is..

I can see some of the functions being handy for some, yes it would allow someone to cheat, but just because they can do, does not necessarily mean they will do.
I think there are easier and cheaper ways to cheat, people may want this for the other reasons.
I was just having this conversation yesterday, I'm trying to drag some top players over from my old stomping grounds WGT. This place is great in that anyone cheating will be caught, and can be caught by anyone at anytime.
I admit I limit my discussion to this game in particular, it's the only game I play on steam. |

Knowledge is key, you cannot cheat and not get caught. With that said I'm not looking anywhere other then where I care as well, and that's right here.
