Welcome to Week 7 of Season 2 of the Speed Golf.

This week we're playing Northern Forest Golf Club, by HB_KeithC . One of the official HB courses, which sometimes get overlooked. But Keith does a great job with them, so it's time to take this course out for a spin. Plenty of shots to be found here, but it has its subtle difficulty and many dangers for the wayward hurried shot.

Speed golf is tough at 30 fps. Since my system is a bit dated (q9550 & r9 280) I run on low settings on 1080p rather than medium/high at my native 1440p. This gives me 45-90 fps on 90% of the courses I play and just about 100% of the tour courses.

At 30 fps, the lag is enough to make a 3 foot putt into a 10 foot putt.

I finished even.

After waiting an eternity for the course to load up I hit -8 in 17:17 or thereabouts think there might be a low turnout for this this week though due to loading times

Surprising, I figured an HB official course would be fine lag wise. Loading time doesn't make a difference to the times, so once it loads you're good to go.
Oh well, there's always next week.

Course played tough with the wind. Next time I need to get a timer going so I know how my pace of play is going.

Well I crushed this week's course. Took a break for a few days and then played this with no warmup, and played great. You've still got a day to match my score, but I wouldn't bother if I were you.
