Published this course for the rookie design contest but just couldnt meet the deadline with work. I am still working on it though and want to fine tune it first for a multipin setup. If some people have time, may you play it and put your criticism or any issues you have found in this forum? It is my first course so I am always looking to improve it.
The course is based heavily on Royal County Down. I did it on xbox though, so I eye balled a lot of it and tried to make it a bit tougher for the video game crowd.
Right now, I'm redoing the first cut to make that more consistent.....

I played your course and enjoyed my round here. Firstly I'm no designer so I'll just comment in general. I thought the course played well and there seemed to be enough room on the greens to allow for the amount of roll out required for the firm setting. Visually I thought the colours and textures worked well. I am currently playing Saxony on the Web tour and your course did remind me of that on occasion. These Highland type courses do tend to be a bit "same old same old" and can get a bit boring unless you distinguish them in some way. Would your course draw me back for another round? To be honest, probably not because there is so much quality out there but as I said initially, I enjoyed my round. Good job. Keep designing great courses.

Yeah, I was playing the other day and thought the same thing, I am going to change a few things to make it a bit more unique but realistic as well. Time to get the creative juices flowing!
