This is happening to me since a month or two, only under Microsoft Edge (so far).
Basically the scrolling on the forums became 10x slower till it stops working completely after a while - refreshing the page won't fix it; only remedy I found is bouncing onto another forum section entirely...pretty annoying

My god I thought it was only me.
Only this site.
Started noticing it on the weekend. My wireless keyboard batteries were really low, charged it to full yesterday, changed the battery in my mouse. I almost went and bought a new mouse.
Still does it. Has to be some script or something bogging down.

I'm on chrome using a razor mouse and have no issues - does it happen on all computers (work, friends etc?) Maybe it's location based?

Only one computer for me so can't really answer that. Except this morning I was browsing the forum from my phone and no trouble at all.

I have a question about scrolling, but not the same one. I (usually) use my iPhone 6 to do anything on here, with the desktop view. Sometimes my page just moves around on its own without me scrolling, and pictures seem to cut themselves in half.
Also, I am on a Windows 8 when I use my computer to post, and the scroll speed has never been a problem.

Under Safari (on my iMac and MacBook) never happened on any OS - neither under iOS on iPhone. Happened (and happens) only under Win10 - could be a Win related issue I guess. TimB what Win version are you running atm? |

Windows 7 for me.
Yesterday i never had a total lockup. Scrolling became unresponsive, could keep scrolling and eventually it would start again. Albeit sluggish until i navigated to another part of the forum.
On my stupid smart phone (i hate these things lol) until i officially start my day. See how the scrolling is then i guess.

I clicked the "hide" button for the shoutbox and in my brief few minutes of flipping around the forum I haven't noticed the slowdown.
Not really a solution, don't post in there but do like to read some of them sometimes

The forums are fully hosted by Proboards so we have no access to the code base. The only thing I can recommend is maybe posting about it in the ProBoards support forums. All the hosted ProBoards forums are the same so should have the same issues. support.proboards.com/ |
