So, as a long time real life golfer, I have seen many things... And some golf courses have some interesting things.
Recently I played a round at Delaware Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio. The actual course was very good, but something stuck out. The driving range was a water hazard. You hit floating golf balls into a giant lake to warm up.
so, fellow TGC golfers, what are some weird things you've seen out there? I will post every week-ish.

Weirdest I've seen was a very small town course in interior bc where there were two fairways that crossed each other like an x |

Used to be a golf course within the old Bangkok airport boundaries. Think they've built a new airport now tho

I was actually going to post about the course inside the Indy Speedway... I just wonder how it would play when there's a race going on

They let me go fishing when I played Tobacco Road. I fished a TON and caught some nice ones too! That was great!
At Muirfield Village where I worked way back when they would actually change your spikes to NEW spikes when you showed up to protect the greens. I always thought that was cool.

That could be fun also, a course inside a horse track I've played one that was partly inside a racecourse in the Scottish Borders years ago. I think it was at Kelso if I remember correctly, I'll have to check. |
