Welcome to Brittle Bush Golf Club !!
Desert Theme
6999 Yards
Par 72
Fast Greens (Speed 172)
Soft Fairways and Greens
Hole 1 = 421 Yard Par 4 - The tee shot is over the water to a large fairway that is very forgivable.. The second shot is also over water so make sure you are in the fairway or first cut of rough.. Your second shot should be a full Pitching Wedge to a green that gently slopes front to back..
Hole 2 = 128 Yard Par 3 - This green has a false front so make sure your tee shot clears that part of the green.. The green gently slopes left to right..
Hole 3 = 466 Yard Par 4 - With no wind or a tail wind you can clear the two small bunkers on the left side of the fairway.. This is a very long Par 4 so be careful with this tee shot.. You really need to hit driver here to have a chance.. You should have a mid iron into the green.. The green primarily slopes left to right.. Most of the time the pin is back right..
Hole 4 = 623 Yard Par 5 - This par 5 features a huge fairway..You will need a tailwind to clear the bunkers on the left side of the fairway.. If no tailwind take your tee shot down the right side.. Driver will come up short of the bunker on the right unless there is a huge tailwind.. The second shot is also easy because of the wide fairway.. The green has a severe slope back to the fairway so make sure you clear the false front..
Hole 5 = 382 Yard Par 4 - Take your tee shot to the right of the fairway trap.. The fairway slopes toward the green and when the ball stops rolling you should have a short pitch shot to the green.. This is the most dangerous green on the course.. The green has 3 levels.. It is critical that you find the right level on your approach shot..
Hole 6 = 108 Yard Par 3 - Pitching Wedge shot to a island green..
Hole 7 = 570 Yard Par 5 - This Par 5 is NOT reachable in two.. If you hit driver here you are likely to find a trap or run off into the rough collection area.. 3 wood is a good choice here.. The second shot has a split fairway option.. The right side is large but a miss hit could find water.. The left option is smaller and leaves a better approach shot into the green.. The front portion of the green is sunk in so shots coming up short will likely roll onto the green..
Hole 8 = 471 Yard Par 4 - One of the tougher tee shots on the course.. The bunker / rough collects a lot of wayward tee shots..The long second shot will likely require a fairway wood.. Most of the time, the pin is on the back of this long narrow green..
Hole 9 = 305 Yard Par 4 - YES !!! You can reach this green in one.. Be careful if you have a tailwind not to go over into the water.. The green is guarded by several traps left and right and water in the rear.. A smart 5 wood off this tee leaves you with a pretty easy birdie opportunity.. But this is the Golf Club and everyone hits Driver.. So have at it
Hole 10 = 408 Yard Par 4 - 3 wood 3 wood 3 wood !!! That will leave you with a short iron into the green..
Hole 11 = 550 Yard Par 5 - This hole is reachable in 2.. The tee shot will be tough to manage however.. I suggest smart play here and go for the fat parts of this fairway on your first and second shots.. 3 iron or 5 wood off the tee.. 3 or 4 iron to the fat part of the fairway near the water.. This will leave you with a pitch shot over the water to a two level green..
Hole 12 = 94 Yard Par 3 - Depending on the wind Sand Wedge is a good choice here.. This huge green can be tricky so try and get one close..
Hole 13 = 487 Yard Par 4 - Try to avoid the bunker off the tee.. This is a long Par 4 and a drive into the fairway is a must..
Hole 14 = 460 Yard Par 4 - Be careful not to hit to much club.. A well placed tee shot will leave you with a mid iron into the green.. The green slopes left to right towards the water.. This is a very slick green that breaks more than you think..
Hole 15 = 191 Yard Par 3 - Anything into the middle of this small green is a good shot on this long Par 3..
Hole 16 = Signature Hole - 416 Yard Par 4 - You have two options off the tee on this Short Par 4.. The left fairway is wider but sits below the green while the right fairway is thinner but leaves you a level approach shot.. You might choose which side after you find out which side of the green holds the pin..
Hole 17 = 379 Yard Par 4 - Another short Par 4.. A good tee shot leave you a short iron to the green.. The big bunker in front will only come into play on very poor shots..
Hole 18 = 542 Yard Par 5 - Toughest Hole on the course.. The finishing tee shot is to a wide fairway.. The second shot is the big decision that you will have to make.. A small tailwind or no wind makes this green reachable.. You are more likely to make a Par than Birdie if you decide to go after this green.. The best second shot is to the very wide fairway just over the lake.. The leaves you with a short pitch shot into the green.. AVOID the bunkers around this green as they are dug in deep..
