This is an update of my Marazion Golf Club course from around a year ago. The original has itself done pretty well; finding its way onto the HB suggested list. However when it got selected for an upcoming Euro event I jumped at the chance to tone down some of the fantasy elements and drastically improve the greens. The main version (Marazion Golf Club 2016) is a fairly comfortable 6873 yard par 71 with medium settings all around, however the greens are very much setup for firm/fast so for the full experience I recommend starting with the Thurs version below. Tour SetupThe tour versions are medium firm fairways, but firm and fast greens. The Friday version is slightly slower due to rain but still firm. These will be used in the W32 Euro event, they are: Marazion Golf Club 2016 - Thurs Marazion Golf Club 2016 - Fri Marazion Golf Club 2016 - Sat Marazion Golf Club 2016 - Sun Fairways: Medium Firmness Greens (Thurs/Sat/Sun): Firm and Fast (187) Greens (Fri): Firm and Medium-Fast (174) To get a little understanding of the incredible location that inspired this course, I attached this stunning image: The rest are pics from the course:

Forgot to say, massive thanks to rod81simo for his feedback on this. The front 9 in particular underwent a massive revamp thanks to some great suggestions

Your stuff sux as always Patrick.................... How some fail to see that you are one of the best designers in the game still alludes me.

Cheers guys. Thanks Vic for the awesome pics. Who isn't calling me a top designer??? I'll send the boys round.. It's that Moe fella I bet . Very kind of you to say. It's odd to have people think that tbh, just enjoy making courses, if others like them then that's a big bonus

My first time posting in this thread (probably the last as well ). looking for a course to practise sawgrass conditions on, (I only play a couple of non tourney rounds per week, so limit myself to PGA and EURO tour courses). Saw this pop up last night, and having enjoyed my tourney at Tye Dunes, I expected a challenging round with some devillish slopes on the greens to contend with. Found myself to be the 1st player to set foot on the Sunday version of the course on PS4, and thinking it would be nice to post a good score for the rest to chase............ The wind was up, mainly over 10 mph and gusting up to 16 mph in places, add to that some of the huge elevation changes, and those "colourful" slopes on the greens I enjoy so much, what a fight I had with "Old Man Par" I like to work on my weaknesses on my practice rds, so I do plenty of shot shaping and chipping, and sometimes get it terribly wrong............ This shot carried almost 10 yds further than I expected, and while it was meandering around on the green, I had flashbacks to those 3 putts on Tye Dunes from long range Where's this going to finish, I was cursing the designer's name.......... A slice of good fortune, but I'm gonna take it Thoroughly enjoyed myself, a very tough track which really showed up my approach play at times, but I battled on in the hope that I would be able to post at least 1 birdie before the round was over haha. If you love a good challenge then this will be "right up your alley", generous off the tee, it's all about the approach shot, although playing firm, a well placed shot into the correct area and the greens can be held nicely, imagination is required and that's what makes a top design imho. I gave it a 10 and put it in my favs. Cheers.

Ye i played the Thur version last night in double digit winds n i really enjoyed it. Love the challenge of the greens but most of all i love how the greens reward a well thought out, well executed shot. I think i scored around -12.
10/10

I played this yesterday and loved it! Instant favorite and a 10. I honestly don't know what you would not like with this course. Wonderful update and super course layout with challenging BUT fair greens. Thank you for this wonderful course.

I just played the thursday setup. What an amazing work here pyates. I think there is nothing that can be improved by any means. I simply enjoyed every second here. Super-dooper course, for sure. Top of the tops ----EDIT---- I shot 68 (including 31 in the back nine - tied with bassman70 for the back -> ) and I feel super proud of it

Wow what a course! Cant wait to play here on the euro next week. 10/10 from me. Cheers, I'm getting excited about it hosting now as well. Wasn't sure how the course would go down when I started the revamp not even a couple of weeks back, really pleased with the end result and the reception thus far
