Shaver Lake Golf Club is a golf only facility located in the Sierra Mountains of California. The club has a variety of 18 holes that weave over and around Shaver Lake and the surrounding forest. My goal was to create a course that was both enjoyable and a challenge for all levels with the hopes of hosting a TGC Tour event. Enjoy!

Hey Stavscu...
Just played the Thursday version....
Lots of great ideas on the course... that 17th pin was evil ha ha... I carded a double on that hole on putting green...
I can say now a lot of folks here will complain about how narrow the fairways are, but I never had an issue finding any of them... they are however paper thin.... I didn't get a great deal of wind on the course, I believe 11mph was the hardest it was blowing at times, but with major wind these fairways would be tough to hit.... But there is where I think the majority of the course difficulty comes from... which is not a bad thing to me...
there is a par 4 toward the end...like 294.... You put a sliver of fairway just before the green for those (like idiot boy me) would aim for since I knew I wouldnt reach the green with a 9 mph cross wind In my face...It could have been a wee bit bigger...I hit it but barely enough room to keep it on there and ended up in the rough... Its probably like 5-10 yards wide...
all in all I enjoyed the course....It was a fun course to play and I really liked the dreary misty morning look on the Thursday version....
Thanks for the time and effort... appreciate it, and enjoyed it...

Thanks for the play and feedback Terry. I agree the fairways are a bit narrow (practicing in the designer with no wind probably caused this, will remember for my next course), especially the 15th hole which you referred to. That was the hole I changed the most from my beta to release, I originally didn't have the sliver from ~100 yards to 40 yards in, but created it to provide more options off the tee.
