Pickering Narrows has just been published for play! A 7,276 yard par 72 course set in the Rustic theme, most of the layout winds its way through the narrow tree lined fairways and around a central pond. However, the outer edges of the course are much more closely integrated with the surrounding mountain landscape, finishing with an epic 600 yard plus par 5 all the way down the hill towards the clubhouse.
Greens are relatively firm but easy to two putt - most slopes feed back down towards the casual pins. A good lag is essential but there are scores to be had out here, especially if you can stick those shorter approaches.

Played this with Pablo tonight and both of us thought it was a tour worthy course. Our agreement ended there as he thought challenge circuit and I thought web. Of course with home being a reviewer for tgctours, I bet he has some top secret access codes to parts of the forums us others don't see where he can butter up the tour schedulers about it being better for the cc. Damn you Pablo( he outplayed me as well to make matters worse). Anyway, this course should be played, be it on tour or not. The last hole is one of the best finishing holes that I have seen in awhile, fantastic hole. Check it out.

Ohhh I can access some of the most hidden secrets of the members in the forums....or not Really liked the course, and it plays really nicely. Probably if the edges of the fairways were a bit less curvy, the visuals of the course could rise a bit. But as it is, it's a great course

I can only hope it makes it onto a tour, that's my goal at the moment... really trying to get out there as much as I can. Glad you enjoyed the last hole too, wasn't sure how well it would go down! Seemed a bit of a risk trying to make a hole like that without making it too easy, hopefully the wind adds an extra layer of difficulty too.
