I think Athletico will win the Champions league outright they will pick Bayern off on the Counter attack with Griezmann.
Bayern will come at them as they need to and it will play right into Athletico's hands just like Barcelona coming at them and they picked them off.They are Dogged and fight for everyone and give 110% as a unit and would do anything for each other and the manager and are a very frustrating team to play against.
However I can see Thomas Mueller scoring and Bayern winning 1-0 and Athltico winning it in extra time. I expect there to be not many goals in this one and I hope I'm wrong coz the last match was awful to watch

Interesting views lads... Hard to call but I believe it'll be a repeat of the champions league final of a few years ago... ie all Madrid final!

I aim to keep this thread alive with match preview posts for games.
I didn't get to watch the game due to work but sounded full on! Two penalties missed! Let's see who they meet in the final!

Preview for Madrid v City will be up later. The match was fiesty!!  Bayern dominated possession, and created chance after chance, and although they won the match on the nite, the decisive moment in the leg was when Griezmann netted.. Having kept a clean sheet in Madrid it gave Athletico the edge and its why I gave Simeone's charges the nod, because as Ant quite rightly pointed out, a team defending deep like Athletico were in Munich can always get the one chance to grab a counter attack n luckily for them it fell to the right man.. |

It's looking like an all Spanish Champions League Final! Find it hard to see Man City taking the score draw or win needed tonight here. Madrid are on fire at home, 68 goals in their last 15 home matches, regardless of what strength opposition. Ronaldo is back in the squad tonight after his injury kept him out of the 0-0 last week. Well firstly what a bad game of football that was.  like two "heavyweight" boxers comin together n possessing dangerous attributes but clinching together for 12 rds without throwing anything of note.. Even the goal from Madrid was an og.. Poor stuff!! This kind of fixture tonight between two of the bigger European clubs epitomises exactly how Leicester City have won the BPL this season.. Fantastic achievement from Ranieri's men.. They deservedly won the league because they were the best TEAM.. Athletico won through to the final last nite against Bayern because their TEAM ethos n organisation narrowly beat Munich's individual flair n class on away goals over two legs. My point is simple.. How much money was on the field tonight at the Bernabeu.. A LOT!!  Did either side deliver a performance to reflect this financial power!? No. Building a TEAM is the key.. Not throwing cash around like confetti!! Yes spend money by all means but expensive players sometimes just don't fit the jigsaw.. Not easy to build winning teams but a number of managers over the past few seasons have shown flashing cash isn't always the answer. |

As a real madrid fan I obviously hope real madrid wins in Milan, but I must say that what Atletico is doing these years is really worthy having a Champions League win, despite the fact I don't like the way the play matches.
What is sure is that we will see an intense match between both teams, just like a couple of years ago
