Aww you never know  Hmm yes the Sunday setup will be different and hard. Some of the holes are similar length but different angles and others are longer and more of a challenge though will say that I play tested in 1mph and it is possible to score, I tested the putting of each pin location and with practice made bird or got close for par on all greens. Since it's a desert course, the conditions had to be on the firm side though not max firm. The distance for the Sunday is I think around 7800 yds and if wind blows around 20mph in your face, this version will be evil. That would be the nail in many people's coffin headed to Sunday thinking they're going to win a tournament on that thing jeez!!! Mine stretched out and firmed up would play like something from a Stephen King movie if the winds get above about 12 on mine pack the clubs and go fishing lol would then sort out the best that week then but tbh it might be longer, it still can be scored on.  |

9 down, 7 to play on the tour & Stisted Hall continues to cling to top spot for me.......
The first half of the tour is a links lovers dream (not my cup of tea) so Totem Creek was a breath of fresh air when it popped up.

Finally completed the tour on PC & "my" top 5 in no particular order (not including my own) are: Doubtful Dunes, Selke Park, Stisted Hall, Dehesas Pristinas & Totem Creek.
I've listed all 16 in my own finishing order & am looking forward to seeing how well it matches the judges final placings?

Yeah, thanks to Moe and the other organisers for this. I've enjoyed playing all the entries and I've certainly learned a lot from the experience. Looking forward to collecting my wooden spoon on Thursday, good luck to everyone else.

After weeks of debating, shouting , kicking, screaming and punching of walls (that was just me during the play throughs). We have came to are decision (We think). We will be announcing as per the schedule and will start on Thursday 21st when I have my morning break in work  . Before it all kicks of lets just use the usual judges speel and say this was tough very freaking tough except for the piece of sh%$ that Irving submitted that wasted all of our time. Great Job by all the designers and Special thanks to Ola and Seth for all the help and input. Personally I think we've nailed it. So with that said any complaints blame them . |

I know i wont get top 3 since theres been so many awesome courses created for this contest and i think the Web tour will have fun using all these courses in its event for the next year or so.
I think I will be down at the bottom end so will see if its me or irving whos last lol. I will be sorting my greens out so they meet web standards, not near edge of greens etc.
Goodluck to everyone and cant wait to see who wins.

I have 4 courses left to play which I'm hoping to get through tonight. I also have 3 courses that I have played to post my thoughts on later . Really enjoying the courses... hating my own golf though, not sure why but I am getting lots of 90% shots, lots of random hooks and the stick looks to me like I'm hitting it straight and the same each time. Oh well, not about that for me, the courses have been really good, lots of variety and all of them (yes Irving I have played yours) have something really strong about them. I cannot pick who will be first or last right now but I'm hoping to, like Sam, get a secret list going so I can see how it matches up. Good luck everyone |
