I just got to the Web.com tour, in time to miss out on the CC Match Play event! I was talking with another player and they said (I don't know if it's true) that there have not been any special events (or at least very few) for the web.com. One that I can think of was the Masters Qualifying. The CC guys (I was one of them at the time) had the opportunity to qualify for the masters....however the Web.com did not. (so I hear). If this is true, is there a reason....if it's true and there is no reason....can we expect a few coming up? Was looking at the leader board for the match play and it looks awesome! Sweet bracket....would have loved to be part of that! Anyway, just curious. I would think that just like in the real world the web.com is the 3rd highest ranked tour. And therefore have things going on for it to make it such...it's not just a name...it's the quality of players. Just like the best play in WGC Match play events on the PGA etc. Thanks for listening

The Web.com tour did not have Master's qualifying. The reason for this is that the real Web.com tour is a professional tour, so it's members cannot qualify as amateurs. Instead, Web.com players play their own professional event and try to earn exemptions to earn a promotion to the PGA or Euro tour.

Web guys can try and qualify for the US Open and the Open Championship - that and the Web.com Tour Finals are their two main carrots. And the exemptions to the pro tours.
