Summer Trip to Spain?

Hi,

I want to spend my entire summer vacation in Spain, but I don't want to stay in hotels and stuff like that. I want to travel there by myself, maybe with one friend, but I literally have no clue how I would going about planning a trip to Spain.

Does anyone have any information about how to get started planning a trip? Literally anything you know would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hey lella, I'm spanish and live in Spain, so feel free to ask me any question.

First of all, I'd suggest you get in touch with the closest spanish consulate you can find, so they can help you with all the administrative stuff, and then try to find things you'd like to do - see - places to go.

Do you want beach-party holidays? do you want a more cultural trip? big towns or small villages? Spain is a very rich country in terms of tourism, so you may find a wide variety of things to do.

I don't know why you say that... Such a glamourous place... J/K there are a few places in Spain that should be avoided. The first one: Benidorm. Others places to avoid are Salou, Magaluf... (Those last two are usual destination for european teenagers in alcoholic trips)

Must go to cities like Madrid, Barcelona, almost any city in Andalusia, San Sebastian, Segovia, Toledo, and so many places

Yeah avoid Benidorm, especially the weekend June 3rd me and 28 other drunken louts will be roaming the strip for my buddys stag doo! Wish me luck! Hope to make it out alive!
