Now open for play, it's The Creek@ Blueberry Run, just under 6700 yds it's makes you think on every tee shot, decision after decision, this short test will challenge anyone who makes poor decisions. Enjoy!!!!

Overal I thought it had a very interesting and beautiful look I would only say to smooth some of the Major elevations/sharp angles around the greens and smooth the edges of the fairway a bit
You can tell you have a very good imagination and I thoroughly enjoyed the misty somewhat cloudy look which brought the course to life for me Great planting I'd say showing you have an eye for such attributes . Some smoothing is all it needs to me and maybe some different green shapes as most are the stock variety it seems
I really enjoyed it and with minor touch ups It would pop even more
Good job sir I enjoyed it

OK ct where to start? I quit after 5 holes or so 'cos your course was pretty much unplayable (for me at my current skill level). Winds were strong 15-17mph and your course has a LOT of water. It seems to me that your course demands (more than most) that you land in good areas otherwise you're in big trouble and this was difficult to achieve in those conditions and that's why I quit. I would very much like to try this course again when the hurricane has died down so that's what I will do.
Just a word about the long par 3 early on. I had a 15 mph wind behind me so driver was out of the question. I felt that the 5 wood would leave me in the water so I aimed for the fattest portion of the green with my 3 wood. Landed dead centre and rolled off the back and into the drink. Not many options available on this hole in strong wind and I haven't even mentioned the wicked tucked pin on this green!
Anyway from what I saw the course looks good and will be a challenge. Just not for me in those conditions. Be back soon.

#3, drivable par 4, 261yds, fairway on the right, all the way up to the hole, let the hurricane leave town and give it a go, you'll enjoy i promise.

You were so right. Very enjoyable round in much more manageable winds. I thought the course looked good and played well. I was overly aggressive (as usual) and carded 7 birdies and an eagle to be -9 but also collected 4 bogeys and 2 doubles for +8 and an overall -1. Enjoyed it very much and didn't find it boring at all - kept my interest up to and including the final hole. I won't comment on design aspects cos' that's not my thing but as a player I gave it 7.5+ Good job!

From playability point of view i liked it 8/10 for me.
I wud say its a tad too dark tho...think the place needs to be brightened up a bit. Hard to tell fairway from rough on some holes

I played this tonight and liked it. I thought it was a bit on the dark side, but it wasn't unplayable. I thought the course would benefit from some smoothing and lowering of the tall mounds. The greens were fair as well as the fairways. I played in fairly windy conditions and didn't find any problems, I liked the hole design on several holes. I would really like to see this course brighter and after some more sculpting. Overall, this is a good job. Keep designing!!

Sorry for the delay ct131313 - I had a lot on my plate and even if I played your course couple of days ago and did all the rendering/uploading back then I didn't had the time to come here and post Let's get to it. On the design side of things it's clear to me that you got plenty of "raw" talent and also some skills with the GNCD - you probably just need proper refinement trough experience For instance: generally I liked a lot your work with plantation - some of the tee shots are beautiful and all in all the course is nice to the eyes; however I found couple of spots here and there (especially when you planted "into" the water) where plantation seemed a tad too random and also too sparse. Almost the same with bunkers: there're lot of well sculpted and precisely countourned bunkers and then there're couple of almost flat ones or not properly refined on the edges; again with fairways, where you did a great job sculpting them but left some steep mounds behind that undermine an otherwise very organic look. Refining IMHO is also needed on the small details all around the course: cart paths need smoothing and so retaining walls on hole #3 - the rock work semi-surrounding the greens on hole #12 and #16 is a very nice touch, but again it'd have benefit from a more thorough attention to the smallest details (I'm very picky - sorry ) like throwing rocks of different shape and dimension, rotating here and there and so on. If you go back and look closely at those rock-walls as they are now they don't look realistic at all, they almost seem to have no part in your design All in all, details aside, is a nice looking course, with a great lightning impact (great job there). And it plays very nicely too to be fair - which is the most important thing I loved some of your tee shots (13th is amazing) and generally I really like what you did firming up the fairways and leaving the greens to medium - it requires some thought and good ball placement skills; I can see players out of their confort zone here, despite the fact that in low winds the course plays pretty easy - I think it'll be a nice medium-to-challenging stop for CC tour with some tweaking The Creek @ Blueberry Run needs some variance though. I get what you did on routing and risk/reward shots but in my opinion is too repetitive. There's many holes with almost the same kind of tee shot (250ish with water hazard to watch for) and the same kind of green/pin (either tucked pin with slopes stopping the ball on the back or long pin with slopes leading to the pin) and that unfortunately gives a little bit of a stale feeling after 10-13 holes. Make no mistake: the work on sculpting greens and fairways and carefully placing obstacles and planning slopes is fine; actually is very good, but I found it quite "unidimensional" (or bi-dimensional to be precise). So I'm sure that picking up some ideas from other designers and such will help you grow as a designer; I hope you won't find my words too harsh (cause I enjoyed my time on your course ultimately) and that some thorough feedback would help you sort things out and get back to the GNCD more motivated than ever I gave you course a 7 out of 10. Onto my round now (I'm sorry for the frame stuttering in the video - it's def not my rig - could be the result of the settings I'm using under OBS, working to sort that out)
