Companion Player Stopped hitting the golf ball at 10th hole

I was playing my third round of the Bushwood Open (CC-E). Got to the 10th hole and hit my tee shot. My companion player went to hit a tee shot on 10 but never hit the ball. Lots of waggles but never executed the shot. What to do. I went to the menu and exited the game then came back and I hit my next shot.  Game switched back to my companion player at the tee box and same results. Never executed the shot. Just waggles.  I went back to the menu and deleted the player and finished the round.


Wonder if anyone else has run into this situation.

Played the rest of the round without any other player.
