Yes, that's right. I've got three projects in the designer that I'm working on nearly every day.
After taking quite a bit of time off besides Chastain's Landing, which was one of my quicker projects, I've decided to get back into the designer more often. This hurts my skills on the course, but I enjoy designing more anyway.
The first course I started work on is called "The Revival at Brooklime." You may think that name sounds familiar because it is. This will be the sister course to The Revival at Crestmont, a course that hosted a Euro event earlier this season. In the Highlands theme, Brooklime will be the much bigger sister of Crestmont. Bigger hills, bigger slopes, and more length. While Crestmont was a little Scottland combined with Ireland, Brooklime is all Irish. It's fast and firm with plenty of elevation change and a ton of rolling slopes you will need to use to get the ball close to the hole. In some ways, it may be easier than Crestmont, but only if you use the land correctly. This project is currently 11 holes in. Pictures coming soon.
The second course I started working on is called "Duke's Crossing." I never planned on naming a course after myself, but I plan on this being the biggest project I've ever done, and would consider it to be my "best work" when looking back, so thought the name would work. This layout will be 54/72 holes! When finished. Thanks to a very crowded layout with very few trees, there's ample room and plenty of data to be had on the map. I plan on naming each 18 holes with a city that I've lived in before. The first 18 will be the "Kennesaw" 18. I'm currently 7 holes in. It's a US Open style design with an incredible amount of bunkers. Through 6 holes, the course have well over 100 bunkers sculpted and finished. I'm having a lot of fun with this one. The theme is currently undecided. I'm thinking Swiss. The texture works well and I like the look of the sparse trees. Pictures coming soon.
As far as a release, I had planned to do a triple release on the same night, but I'm also thinking about keeping Duke's Crossing a secret until all 54/72 holes are done and releasing those 4 together. At the least, I'll be releasing two courses at the same time in the next couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to it. As usual, expect the tracks to be a difficult championship styled test.

The Revival at Brooklime pictures! #1 tee and green, uphill par 4, only hole on course without a bunker. Nasty raised green with tons of slopes and drop-offs on the back. Play the land! #2 green. An uphill par 5 with a narrow fairway and plenty of pot bunkers. Green heavily protected in front with bunkers that force you to be very aggressive to get close to the green or to lay back more and give yourself a longer wedge in. Second shots on par 5's are too easy on this game. I'm aiming to take that away on my newer courses. #3 tee. A downhill par 3 with stacked tee boxes down the slope. Big green with plenty of ways to get your ball rolling. Do not go long here. Like many holes on this course, the drop-offs are nasty in the back, so don't get aggressive out here. #4 tee and fairway. A long, downhill par 4 with a lot of bunkers and a huge, receptive green with room to run it on. Stay out of the bunkers and use the slopes to get your ball to stop. #5 fairway. A par 4 that will be used as a drivable green in some setups. Here from the fairway, it's a shorter iron over one of the few forced carries on the course. Another green where you don't want to go long. #6 green. A shorter par 4 that doglegs right around the water. A short iron in, but it's a very precise shot. #7 green. One of the simpler holes on the course. Medium length, straight par 4 that heads back up the hill. Plenty of bunkers and a very sloped green. Don't get on the wrong tier here or it could be a very long hole. #8 tee and green. Not a flattering first picture, but one of the cooler views on a tee shot. This very long par 3 produces a lot of run out on certain parts of the green, so be sure to use the run up areas and slopes to get your ball where you want it. On second picture, you see looking back at the hills that there are tons of tee boxes on the hole that give different yardages and angles on different setups. #9 tee and green. A par 5 that gives a blind second shot after an easier drive straight up the middle. The second shot is tricky. Go for the green and you need to avoid some bunkers. If you layup, it's a very sloped and tiered green that actually works in your favor. There are many different ways to work the ball close to the hole on the third shot with a wedge in. #10 fairway and green. A longer par 4 that heads back up the hill next to #1. Avoid the trio of bunkers on the right and you'll have your second forced carry of the round to a solo green. Once again, many ways to use the slopes to get close. That's it for now at Brooklime. Wish the pictures were better. Let me know how this one looks. Will continue to edit post with newer pictures. Duke's Crossing coming next.

Duke's Crossing (Kennesaw 18) Pictures! #1 tee and green. This hole will be edited a bit. When starting, I wasn't sure what I was going for with the course, but I realized by the second hole. Because of that, some of the bunkers are larger here than I want and the layout isn't quite what I want. Still the general idea of the hole is the same. Longer par 5 with a protected green. #2 tee. Picture doesn't do this justice. It's got a very cool sightline with some heavy bunkering all around to a raised green. Medium length par 3 with a heavy sloped green from back to front. #3 fairway and green. I switch up the lighting here to a (too dark) overcast to show the different look. This is a long par 4 with over 20 bunkers and another heavily sloped back to front green. Use your room here to run one up and get on the right tier. A drive to the left portion of fairway gives a better angle in. #4 fairway and green. Another long par 4 with heavy bunkering up the middle. The right portion of the fairway slopes towards a nasty ditch with plenty of planting to possibly force an unplayable. The green is basically a right angle with a big slope that runs to the right portion of the green that's raised above the ditch. The green continues all the way right to the #5 tee box. This hole could play very differently each day depending on the pin. #5 tee, fairway, and green. As you see, the back tee box is placed on the edge of #4 green. The tee shot carries over and to the left of the same ditch that connects with #4. Hit the fairway as close to the bunkering on the left as possible to have a good angle into the relatively flat green. Another long par 4 that creates a brutal stretch between 3,4, and 5. #6 tee and green. Another par 3 where the picture doesn't quite capture the look of the hole. I think this is may favorite par 3 I've ever made. Extremely long but accessible depending on the pin. Nearly 30 bunkers surround this green and fairway from all angles that give it a cool look. The square green at the from extends to slight curves on the back left and back right. The back right drops off extremely to a run off fairway that'll give you a tough flop back up on the green. That's it now for the Kennesaw 18. For this course, it will begin to look better as the holes around start to fill in to give it a very open look to the rest of the course and the sparse trees. If I can get 72 holes on the map, I think it'll look really awesome. Let me know what you think about the current theme, and I'll continue to edit the post with newer pictures.

Looks great Duke. What I know is you'll take care to ensure they play tough but fair...just like Chastain, which I'm a big fan of. Been to Reynolds Plantation with my buddy who lives in Acworth and love the terrain in that area...looking forward to Oconee.

Reynolds Plantation is great. It's just a short drive from my school. Just posted some early Oconee pictures.

Not sure what I admire more, the course work (which looks fantastic) or the time commitment it took to get the pics from the PS4. Look forward to these project getting completed.

Appreciate that, especially from an established designer. Lol And yeah, definitely not easy with the pictures. I privately post them to Facebook from the PS4, save them to my computer, upload them to Imgur, and post the code on here. It's no fun, but I've seen how big a difference it makes in people wanting to play the course.

Someone has been busy is the Revival at Brooklime going to play similar to Crestmont. Obviously it'll be it's own course but I found Crestmont to be one of my favorite euro events of the year and would not be opposed to something along similar lines.

I've been enjoying switching between the three of them and keeping fresh. As for Crestmont, yes it'll be similar. I'm glad you enjoyed that one. I'm calling Brooklime "Crestmont on steroids." Crestmont was a bit of a mix between Classic links and Irish links, where as Brooklime goes full on Irish links to me. It's much more hilly and there are a lot more slopes, but the overall idea is the same. I think I tiered the greens here even more which can hurt you or help you depending on how you use them.

Well I played TRAB Beta 10 and just like The Duke said, it's Crestmont on steroids and I've got to say that just like baseball, The Revival is better on steroids. My recommendation is go play it, it doesn't disappoint.
