Can someone please explain how the game calculates handicaps.... Since I started playing TGC Tour events my handicap has gradually increased week on week despite mainly submitting below par rounds. For example I have just finished -6 for 18 in the 3rd round Huy Yong Foods Classic and my handicap has increased from 19.7 to 23.1 at the end of that single round?!

Your handicap is the best 10 handicap difference results out of your most recent 20 rounds on handicap rated courses. The reason you have a good round and go up, is that the round you have just played, has replaced a previous better round, (your 20th most recent) on the list.

Thanks for the responses - much appreciated! Still not entirely sure how you end up with a handicap of 23.1 when your course average is below par though?!
