Cheers,
Regrettably, Curwood Lake Club will be my third and final creation for the foreseeable future as real life starts to ramp up. Bittersweet, as designing is as enjoyable to me as playing different courses and tournaments. I spent the most time on this course and kudos to Pablo for tips from my previous two creations. I think I got this one right. It plays on the softer side and at 7,280 yards will play long. I'm certain low scores will be plentiful, but typically with high winds it will be a challenge.
A premature thanks to Karma for graciously posting pics (at his convenience).
Enjoy.

Hey John, already played the course, and really enjoyed it.
There are no big elevation changes, the course flows nicely over the terrain, with some bumps but nothing dramatic, and working very nicely. The bunkers are well done, if you visit them you are punished, as it should be, but you always have an escape.
The greens are a bit on the flat side, except a couple of them in the back nine. Their size is proper to the length and type of shot you face approaching them. They are ok, but with a bit more of movement (but a bit more, not going insane), they could be slightly more challenging.
Some of the fairways are a bit wavy, which sometimes looks a bit odd, but it's not a big deal, and can be solved easily.
He have a nice course here, one that shows good potential from the designer, so hopefully we'll get some more from you John. I'll wait for them.
Nice job, and thanks for sharing

Thanks Pablo. I concentrated on the bunkering in this go around. The greens, while I don't necessarily disagree with you, will provide for some challenging putts in a multi-pin setup, which I hope to use someday. Appreciate the review.

I did not mean that the greens were not good. They are nicely done, but they don't have step slopes and they offer a lot of potential pin positions. And being a bit firmer, in combination with good pin placement, they can be really interesting.

I played this last night and enjoyed it very much. Very nice course, nice views, nice layout. Maybe you could squeak out a little time here and there and keep designing . I know what a crazy schedule is...TRUST ME. Mine is nuts. Anyway, nice job on this one and hope to see some more down the road. Thank you for your time and giving us this nice course.
