I have published my newest course North Carolina National CC. This isn't a recreation of any real life course but has influence from real life holes. This is a winter themed course but has very little in the way of snowfall or look of winter I'm really hoping this one will host a cc series tournament. One can hope right lol.
Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain range the first snowfall of the year has came to the North Carolina National CC. With still lush fairways and greens the course plays well with semi firm greens receptive to well hit tee shots and approach shots. This course demands that you hit your tee shots in the fairway and well placed for the correct angles to the holes. Close attention is needed when hitting approach shots as you can end up in bunkers or well out of birdie range. Water plays a large part around some holes especially the back 9. Shot shaping and good bunker play comes into play on this course. There are some elevation changes from tee to green and interesting pin placements.

Hadn't seen this one, sorry
I just played the course, and it's a nice course to play. The terrain is a bit abrupt for my liking, but the course is in the feet of the mountains so it should be like that, and that terrain is very well done. Maybe some of the bunkers lying on the fairways could benefit of a subtle use of the red brushes, to make the rough strip between them and the fwy a bit wider, but the general feeling of the course is quite interesting.
Thanks for sharing, and keep 'em coming

Thanks so much for the play and kind words thanks for the tip I wasn't sure of how to do that but now I do that's why I respect you guys so much and think you guys are so important. I'm hoping to host a challenge series event we shall see but hoping more people play and enjoy this course. Depending on the wind this course can be accessible or really tough

I live between Charlotte and Asheville at the foot of Carpenters Knob ( yeah knob) and was interested in this one ! I believe I commented somewhere on this but enjoyed it ! Would be interested to see/play it in non winter theme but it did remind me of the look and feel of courses around these parts ! Pablo brought up a great point about some smoothing and such ! I enjoyed it and keep at it !!! Hope to see some more NC courses

Played last night. Really enjoyed my round. Beautiful scenery (I'm a sucker for the snow against the blue sky) and challenging holes. I'm a fan of the abrupt changing in height on the fairways and greens. The greens were fair, but still made me think about where I could safely land my shots. Several fairways were the same. I look forward to your next course.
Well done! John

I'm usually pretty good about writing about the courses I play, but I must admit I just forgot to get back with you and I apologize!! I played your course a couple days ago and enjoyed it very much. I think the biggest thing for me would be the sculpting. The visuals are very nice, the greens and fairways were done well also. I do remember you saying this was in the mountains and I know there would be some hilly or bumpy areas. Overall, I think this was a nice course and I hope you build us some more. Thank you for your time! Nice work.

I don't care about difficulty. I just want a course that's done well on a technical level and that's playable and fair. Build what YOU want. If you want relaxing and easy go for it. If you want to challenge us who usually shoot -10 or better, go for it. Personally, I don't like gimmicky courses. Anyway, stop reading this and get to work.
