Hi everyone, I've just published the 2016 remodel of the Legacy at Cape Point!
The new Legacy is longer, meaner, hillier, and firmer.
My advice - use the slopes to your advantage, stay away from the roll-offs, and judge your speed carefully.
Thanks everyone for playing, and good luck out there. There are four versions -
Legacy At Cape Point - TGCTours Rd. 1 Legacy At Cape Point - TGCTours Rd. 2 Legacy At Cape Point - TGCTours Rd. 3 Legacy At Cape Point - TGCTours Rd. 4
Play well and enjoy!

WOW!!! Just wow. Was saying on the other thread (WIP) that I'd never heard of or played this course before. Anyway jumped straight in on the updated version and had the best time since I started playing here on TGCTours 12 months ago. The course looks authentic, plays really well and there is something on every single hole to keep you interested and absorbed in your round. Sorry Patrick, I thought Tye Dunes was great but this is an absolute stunner! Gave it a 10/10. No brainer for the tours but which one? It would be a shame for any of the tours, Pro or CC, to miss out on this one.

Thank you for taking the time to update this classic course I've just played a really enjoyable round with Rod Simpson on PS4. We got lucky with pretty low winds, but still found it to be a very difficult test. The course plays way tougher than the original. Most of the holes have been significantly altered, some barely recognizable. It looks beautiful in the new theme. If the green speeds were faster the course could become unplayable! But as they are it feels perfect. It's pretty daunting playing some of the approach shots, there appears to be no way of getting it close initially. But after studying the green and surrounding mounds, a way of attacking the pin becomes apparent, you just have to hit a really great shot, there are no margins for errors We played the round 1 setup, I'll look forward to playing the rest of them, I can't imagine where you are going to find 4 different pins on some of the holes? I can't wait to find out. I shot -7, which I was very happy with, especially as I was only 1 under at the turn. An easy ten from me. It's going to be another one of those addictive courses that I'm going to want to load up often, to try and beat my best score.

I was more than happy with my 7 birdies out there but I managed to collect 5 bogeys at the same time. Now the fun will be trying to eliminate those and doing my best to increase the birdie count at the same time!

This course has been in my Top 5 favorites as well. I have the day off tomorrow so will be sure to give one of the setups a go!

Very enjoyable. Is there a difference between the two R3 versions? I just played the original R3 and saw a circle of heavy rough in the middle of the 8th fairway about 80 yards from the green, was this removed for the "New" version or is it in all of them and I never noticed it?

Hey Crash - I just checked all the versions and there wasn't a circle of heavy rough on #8, but I was playing on PC and I've heard some weird things can happen on consoles. Maybe that had something to do with it? DON'T play the one titled "New Legacy At Cape Point", because it's actually the same as the 4th round pins - I just accidentally forgot to rename it after editing all the pins. Thanks for playing!

I uploaded a couple of hole outs, managed to beat Brads score with -8 on the R1 version:
Had this debacle on the 7th followed by the eagle hole out on the 8th lol. Looks as though that bit of rough is on the R4 version too as you can see it when my 2nd shot goes by it, probably around 100 yards out, be a nice yardage marker for the TST guys, better than a yardage stick in the middle of the fairway though:
