I've published my latest course designed on XB1. It is a tropical themed course with par 72 and 6,856 yards in length. The first version released is medium firmness throughout and 174 speed greens. I aim to release 3 more versions to have a full tour set.
This fictional island resort is set off the coast of tropical Queensland, Australia in waters sheltered by the Great Barrier Reef. The island gets its name because it resembles a 3 blade propellor. It can only be reached by boat or helicopter. The resort and clubhouse sit at the high point of the hub of the propellor and provide magnificent views of the surrounding course and island archipelago.
The unique feature of this course is that every green is a double green. Each "blade" of the propellor has 6 holes playing to 3 large double greens. A number of the teeing areas are also shared. Each "blade" has 2 par 3 holes, 2 par 4 holes and 2 par 5 holes. The front nine works its way anti-clockwise around the island while the back nine plays clockwise around the island. You can expect to encounter wind from a variety of directions during a round. In light winds the relatively short par 72 can play quite easy with low scores possible but in high winds it is a much tougher prospect. Enjoy.
I will add some pictures later unless our resident superhero (Karma) beats me to it.
