-17 for the first round instilled the voice in my head. "you can win this this week". E for the second round and I told the voice to go and *%** itself. -28 for the tourney. I was in awe watching your first round as I practiced. Even an albatross from me on the 13th wasn't enough to ge close. your front 9 was particularly impressive.

Well an early start for me this week and plenty of great scoring already. I almost started with a bogey on the first. My tee shot was short and rolled down the hill. I had an short shot but could not chip. I managed to flop it but still had a testing putt for par. If I had got bogey on the first I think my competition would have been over before it started. The rest of the front 9 was solid but not inspiring. 5 birdies and 0 dropped shots. I really regretted leaving my eagle putt on 4 short and missing from 5 foot on the 7th. I needed to pick it up to get anywhere near the top of the leaderboard. Birdies on 10 and 11 were a relief but it was short lived. I only got a par on the 11th and missed another eagle putt on the 13. I needed to birdie every hole in order to get a good round in. I managed to do that, a couple of the putts were longer than I normally mange to hole. As with the Derby result yesterday I'm more relieved that ecstatic. It could have been much better but it could of been a whole lot worse. I managed to salvage a good score from what was a disappointing start. Now after last weeks disastrous 2nd round I will not be making the same mistake again. I'm taking a break now.

Yeah it felt good the first round. -10 thru 9. I thought I deserved to be in that euro league. Here I come . Approx 25 minutes later, I was audibly calling myself a stupid **%%*.

Four relatively consistent rounds from me this week. Only a single dropped shot if I remember correctly. The course was fun to play and a decent challenge. Much welcomed after a few weeks of playing courses with many greens impossible to land on (for me anyway!) Scores: -12 -5 -9 -6 --- -32 Hoping I might creep into the exemptions with it but the big -39 posted early may suggest it won't be enough. If I get another I definitely won't use it during a WGC event this time!!! Its now coded that you can't use it in Minor events. Its called the Lineker Code I believe ! (might of made the last bit up)

R1: -12 - Almost seems like a disappointment to shoot -12 in this round. Missed about four putts that were under 8 feet. One of those rounds where you're dropping shots, if you're not making birdies. Played against danandsons ' ghost, very impressive and made me feel pressured to make every putt. R2: -7 - Started off bogie-birdie, bogie-birdie to be even after four holes. Birdied the next two and didn't get my first par until hole 7. After what felt like a disappointing -12 in the first round, I'm very happy with a -7 for the 2nd round. I feel confidently safe that my -19 will make the cut. Scores for round two are going to be all over the place! Good players (have and) will shoot anywhere from even par to negative-double-digits. My third round so far is "meh". Shut off the PS4 with me being -2 after 8 holes.

Some cracking scores out there. Obviously this course suits a lot of people....me excluded (probably should have practiced as I found a lot of tough slopes on the green).
-10 & -6 so will be close to the cut line.

-11 on both of the first 2 rounds. I am nothing if not consistent. I'm almost amazed with the scores from round 1 as I am with the drop in scores in Round 2. This is a really fun course. Crazy course, but a fun course.

Finally got the adding video clip to scorecard thing figured out. Tried for ages on my Ipad but could not get it to work, was easy to do on pc. Its a pretty amazing feature to add to the score cards, I hope others will also use in the future, would love to see the shots that either made or sadly broke a round.

What's the best way to get the clip onto YouTube Dan? I can save the last 30 minutes but then I have to edit it in share play. Is that the only way?

I can barely break Par on this course and you put up those numbers? I designed this crap. I need to start figuring out what others think is difficult. Designing what I think is difficult is clearly not working out for me O.o

Good to see the 2 lads that are struggling are the designer and the scheduler haha. No bais in web anyway ! I shot -8 or -9 first round didn't take a screenshot I turned it off that quickly so I'm not 100%. Managed after a solid start and middle to take 4 shots from 10 yards out for my only bogey then head went. Then putts went. Then pad went. And lastly wife went . Bottom 10 with the same score that made the cut last week haha can't say I'm not mixing it up

By Odin's beard, how I managed to escape Round 4 under par is a testament to what good ol' blind luck can do for you. I've never had a more enigmatic and schizophrenic round. This is my stat sheet for round 4. Get a load of this nonsense.
2 Double Bogeys (+4) 1 Eagle (-2) 6 Pars (E) 2 Bogeys (+2) 5 Birdies (-5)
I was playing with lag in the controller and didn't realize until the 16th hole and I must have 4 putted or 3 putted on all of those bogey holes where the pin placement didn't agree with my putter.
That being said... Round 1 (-11) Round 2 (-11) Round 3 (-9) Round 4 (-1)
I'm still very happy with this tournament and my play, but man I really blew that 4th day.
Best of luck to all out there.

My mind was elsewhere when I started my second, where it was, I can not say but it was not on the green of the first hole, a bogey start. The second was only slightly better, my approach went of the back of the green and my chip refused to stop. I was left with a tricky par putt which I managed to sink. I get the feeling today is going to be a little tougher than yesterday. I missed the green again on three, this time I got my chip right to bring my score back to even. I got my distance control very much wrong on the par five fourth. My second to the green went forty feet past the hole which surprised me with a iron shot, what surprised me more was when my attempted lag putt dropped for eagle. A poor pitch shot to the green took away birdie chance on the fifth. I was not getting my distances right, it cost me a birdie here and could cost me a shot if I don't sort it out. I picked up a birdie on six, I aimed to far right with my tee shot, the bounce from hitting the side of a hill nearly took me into the water. A good shot from the heavy rough gave me a tap in birdie. On the seventh, I got my distance control right for the first time in the round when a good tee shot left me three feet from the hole, four under. It was similar on the eight when my approach stopped four feet from the hole, a tricky putt this with a lot of break, the putt dropped for a very good birdie. Par was my goal on nine, with the hole playing so long, long just wanted to avoid dropping a shot. I made the fairway from my tee shot and that was vital, I did not make the green with my second shot but that was fine, a chip close to the cup and a safe par was made.
A under hit tee shot nearly put me in trouble on ten, I cleared the bunker by a foot or so. I waited for my heart to slow down a little before I played my approach. I was in two minds about what shot to play, a risky long range pitch, a shot I love to play, or a safer normal shot. I took the safe option which proved to be the right option when I made birdie with a eight foot putt. I played my approach on sixteen a little bit to long but was not unhappy with it, safe pars on the longer par fours was not a bad thing. As it turns out, a very good fifteen foot putt brought a bonus birdie. I played my approach on twelve short, hoping the rough would slow the ball and bring it close to the cup, it did slow the ball but also pitched it left to leave me on the wrong side of the cup. It was a nasty eight foot putt, if I played it to hard, it might roll off the green. I played for par, a soft putt to bring me below the cup and a easier uphill par putt. I made birdie on thirteen but did not make it easy for myself, my shot to the green was over hit and flew off the back, my flop was over hit and did not spin at all. I had a ten foot putt for birdie with slight double break, so it was a case of hitting it down the middle and hope for the best. A poor tee shot on fourteen saw my ball roll into a bunker, my lie was good though so there was no issue getting the ball close to the cup for birdie. A good tee shot on fifteen brought another birdie chance, the ten foot putt was slightly downhill and a gentle stroke rolled the ball into the centre of the cup. I took no risks on sixteen, did not attempt to go for the green. I played closer to the green than I planned leaving slightly awkward third shot, it did not prove to be a issue as I landed that within four feet for birdie. I played seventeen as well as I could have hoped, I put my approach five feet from the cup leaving a straight putt for another birdie. On the last I nearly pulled off a second over forty foot putt, it slid past the hole by less than a inch, it also rolled past the hole by eight feet. I was not worried about missing the par putt though, I had played well and I was not going to miss, twelve under my final score.
I am delighted with that round. A slow start but once I found my range I played as well as I could have. The eagle putt was the turning point, it brought confidence and with it being so early in the round, it gave me a chance to build on that confidence. The best opening two rounds since I joined the web and for a change, I don't have to worry about the cut line. No matter what happens on the next two rounds, it has been a good week. Good luck all.
