Hi Mike,
Got a chance to hack it around on your course last night! Well about 14 holes before I had to leave!
Started off great, first tee shot aimed well right, hit it over the clubhouse, into the parking lot, and it bounced out into the fairway! HA! Then on an approach a couple holes later, I hit a terrible approach it bounced off the retaining wall and barely made it across before careening over the green and into the rough, I believe I made that chip.... Started off on fire, birdy on the first five holes, then I bogied the next two! Par on a couple in a row before having to leave!
All in all, I thought it was a very nice course, the only thing Id be careful of is a little variety in some of the trees... It was almost like in spots, you used the same tree and click click clicked until you had a small grove of the exact same tree (left of the fairway on 1 comes to mind) In other areas, it was beautifully forested so maybe that's exactly what you aimed too do?
Thought the course played well, very interesting hole routing! There was shortish par four, I looked out into the fairway and thought, well where in the world is this hole going, Back on the tee I turned around nearly directly behind me the hole was off to my left behind me! Trust me I wanted so bad to attempt that "through the woods shot" ha ha ha...
Enjoyed my round here... Good imaginative design...
Well done sir
Terry
