Week 35: Connors Callahan Municipal

Welcome to Week 35 of the Speed Golf. This is a just-for-fun week as I get some things set up for Season 2. I plan to start Season 2 at the beginning of April, as I'll be away for a couple of weeks at the end of March so don't want to start the new season now and then pause it for a while.

This week we will be playing Connors Callahan Municipal GC, by @ddawg . Speed golf management couldn't line up a big course for spring training, instead we managed to sneak in at this local municipal course. It seems like it's in good enough condition, bit of a dodgy area though. The locals seem a bit suspicious and funny looking.

Season 2 is go!

16:12 on -9 shooting, including a bogey.

Had I played blind, I would have been fine with that. But I shot -14 on one practice round so it didn't feel like much of an accomplishment. Winds did pick up to about 10 mph in the actual round though.

I shot -9 in about 14:15ish by my calculations.

I ended up quitting after a few holes which I never normally do.

First run at speed golf... wasnt very speedy or good lol, -5 in around 17:53, good fun though, cant wait for the next season
