Not exactly sure why I built a Par 3 course but wanted to give it a try!
So I hope you have fun hacking your way around this one! I had a hole in one on the second hole two days ago, and almost aced another! Kinda fun trying to ace a couple holes on the par 3 course!
1/2 slider green firmness 3/4 slider green speed
A little over 1430 yards! A lot of planting, nice Oceanside course and even tried my hand at a beach on a few holes ...
Honest feedback appreciated, and hope that its a nice round away from the normal 18 or perhaps a 9 hole matchplay for you folks to enjoy..... If anyone is interested after playing it Ill finish out a second 9....
Anyway, I hope you give it a try!... and thanks for looking
Terry

What a fun little course, I found myself liking it more and more at each hole. The planting and contouring is just magic and you chose the right sand for your beach as it's on display throughout and it blends with the water almost seamlessly. And the greens are a riot, I had a great time trying to figure out where best to land. The steepness of slopes works very well what felt like a medium/soft with the headwind I got.
I had +12 to +18 headwind on every hole so my tee shots were holding nicely. My only criticism is that I think it was hole 7 (the longest one) I had +18 wind and still ended up a good 20ft short of the flag with my driver.
Otherwise I'm planning on using this as my practice course for a while as it's got everything I need to hone that short game. Loving your work Terry!

Thanks gentlemen for the words ... Had fun building this little course ... Really tried hard to make it presentable planting and contour wise ... Appreciative of the thoughts on the longest par 3 ! Man It never once crossed my mind about a strong headwind and that hole being that long ! Glad you pointed that out because it never occurred to me ... I'll remember that next time Thanks again fellas for taking the time to say a few words Terry

I agree, this is a very nice course Terry. I'll have to play it again after the hurricane to see if i can score better, but the job is superb

The only matter is I lost three caps in 9 holes hahaha, that could get expensive. When are you getting back on the designer? I haven't seen anything since Skylarks I believe. Sorry in advance Terry, that will be the last of the idle chatter on your courses thread.
