It was/is 100%, iv been pissin myself laughing at it...  I think Irish humour goes over a lot of people's heads mate  Tell me about it. I noticed the do gooders weren't long about stepping in haha FFS lads this isn't The Irish Team Championship thread is it?? Anyone who wants a grasp on Irish humour should step in there for a read. If anyone actually thinks I started the thread as an accusation of cheating please read my posts ffs.
Clearly piss taking from start to finish.
I was so distraught by even the thought that it was been taken seriously made me play my worst golf in about 6 months in the Irish team Championship. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)

LOL. Two accounts with similar PSN nicknames, an account that suddenly bursts to the front with a win streak that is extremely abnormal for this league, one of the similar accounts tied to an established PGA level player...that would raise red flags and call it into question regardless of who it is. This has also been a source of discussion for weeks with absolutely no response from the people involved until now. TGCT has had people in the past who have gamed the system and had to be removed for multiple accounts. It's far from an unheard of thing on the internet for someone to try multiple accounts on an online site and not all of them are rocket scientists to make the deceptions on the level that you need Sherlock Holmes to discover it. If someone can't look and reasonably see why the conclusion could be drawn something fishy could be going on, then they have a real problem with simple logic. I hadn't been taking this seriously and really didn't give that much of a crap about it until now. The posts screaming sexism and that it's bruised egos and the sudden rushing in of a buddy to attack those raising the questions makes me wonder if there really is something here. There's way too much of a hostile, antagonistic response. Instead, we get an account that was created just an hour ago, a "buddy" coming in on a high horse to condemn those asking questions as being "willy nilly" when there's solid evidence for questions being asked... Perhaps we really do need to get the TGC honchos to investigate all of this. |

There is 0% serious evidence of any wrong doing that I can see. The fact that a family has similar online names is not an offence and is probably a nice thing for them. I know both persons involved here personally and I can vouch for the 2 of them. I am sceptical of alot of things and I dont remember many comments or posts or insinuations of cheating from u Irving when Kenny Willis turned up and started winning things all over the place, this a man with a DQ for violating the straight shooter policy. For me the fact that a women has turned up on the lower levels of TGCT and won a few tournys shudn be that big a deal....either that or every person that turns up out of the blue and has a few gud results shud get the same treatment from u. Thats my 2 cents, as the great Bill O'Herllihy said "We'll leave it there so". |
