I did go back and read this, well the first one with Tom Doak; was an excellent article. Looks like an excellent magazine in general.
It really well describes what I try to achieve in my greens... Forgetting my most recent 13th... Doak knows his stuff for sure. The one thing that stood out for me was with green size. In TGCT because of how hard a long putt is vs a flop, a large green often IMO plays harder whereas IRL most would prefer a good lag putt over a 30 flop over a bunker. The principles still apply really well to this game... If you convert green size to tier size then you are probably spot on
