Whilst they can be played all on day 1 if you wish, are any out there going to spread the 6 out? I know I am planning on practising each course for a couple of days before playing to get used to the course so will spread mine out with 2 days between each round!

Some members have reported that playing a practice round (via playround) after starting a tour (on the courses included in the tour) can possibly include the practice round as your tour round. Confusing, I know, but just be aware - and maybe test it out to make sure your practice round isn't counting as your official round.

I think that may have to do with the changed settings for starting a round.
When you go to the last screen before starting a round, it does a search to see if there are any rounds currently being played on that course. I'm imagining that if I was to stop a tour on a particular course and then attempt to start a stand-alone round that an option might come up to continue the tour on that course, along with the option of starting a new round. But I've seen that the interrupted round is always automatically highlighted.
That could be what's happening?

I have a feeling that the strength of the wind will dictate when most people will play a course.

I always seem to do better in 6-10mph winds, for some reason if its 0-4mph I struggle as I feel I should be going for the pin every hole. On the other hand 17-22mph........forget it lol.

same here crash when it comes to the wind strength. I also tend to do better on medium to fast greens too as i got so used to how much power i needed to use. if i go straight back to slower greens i never seem to put enough power into putts meaning my scores arn't as good as they should be.

I have been practicing in two segments but think I may play in 3 settings. First 3 rounds in one group. Then Son Gual and Kodiak at once. Then see the scores before Crawford. For me the wind is not as big a factor as striking the ball well. If I am playing well that is my plan. I also have set forth a "preventative" defense for Q school. "no doubles" and "no triples" defense. Will work to have no double bogies, or 3 putts. I can make my share of birdies, (like 23 par 5's alone), the killer is the big number or 3 putts.

i feel comfortable on every course except copper creek so i have been practicing it recently with a -4 and -1 being my recent rounds.
i also feel that doubles shouldn't come into play unless i go for pins (which i shouldnt) for example hole 12 on copper creek. i went for it for fun and managed to get very close but ive also gone in the water too so not a good idea to attack that one.

Soft....s, play in the winds you get. HB, HB, new leaderboard: normal, straight shooter, AND Soft.... low winds. (only jokin about leaderboards).

Thats why HB needs to implement being able to set wind speed and direction for each round so its the same for everyone in tours/tournaments. Some courses I've played tours on you cant even reach the fairways with 20mph winds and thats followed up with 150 yards of water in front of the green.

How would you know what the winds will be before starting a round anyways ? Whe I did the practice rounds I started a round and finished it, regardless of the winds, I thought that was the general idea ?

the wind for a course is the same whether its in a created tour/tournament or just a plyed round so choose play / round/course and look at wind
The wind will dictate for me but even if I get 4/5 mph for every round I would not play more than three rounds as I have noticed I get sloppy around round 4 and my PC starts lagging (must be memory leak)
So it will prolly be 2/2/2 or 3/3 over days of play

I've played the Q school warmup a couple of times. Yesterday I played Yeti's links course in 20 MPH winds. That was thrilling.
