Weirdest hole in one I've had. Just a few minutes ago.
Check out the ball just before it enters the cup, it stutters, kind of hangs, goes in then you hear it hit the pin. No way it should have gone in, I was well on my way to over shooting. Looks like the game didn't know if it should hit the pin or what it would do.
As it was happening I didn't know what was going on the ball just disappeared then I heard the pin. Watching the replay I saw the stuttering thing.
Oh well, I'll take the freebee. Guess the game decided to pay me back for some lip outs and roll overs lol

This is one of those glitches in the game, much like the ball stuttering as it crosses the hole (sometimes falling sometimes not).
It is almost as if the graphics cannot catch up to the computations of the computer.
I sent the link into Anthony. What I find the most interesting is you see the ball stutter, then you hear the pin hit, then the ball drop sound AND THEN the ball goes into the hole. Same thing happens with putts. A ball going across the hole or hole edge, then stutters...sometimes it goes in, other times it does not, with the ball disappearing from the hole edge and reappearing a few inches past the hole. If it drops, same thing you hear it and then the ball just disappears.

Anthony wrote back saying he saw it hit beyond the pin, spin back and hit the pin and into the hole. Odd. I'm not seeing that. I'm seeing it hover.

lol
Not what I see either, do that stutter thing. Down, then up and stutter and drop. Oh well no matter to me anyway, I'll take the underserved ace on my stats. lol
Thanks Ron for all the trouble you go through to get the issues with the cup looked at and sorted out.

Yeah thats the thing too. Thats was what a 7 iron, with 1 very slight click loft. No backspin would have been produced with that. When I took the shot I knew it was going to go way past the pin and probably not even stay on the green.

Got the response. "It's a collider issue with Unity, on the flag stick. so it' gets a little stuck in it sometimes." Sometimes? Considering we see this stuttering often and more likely with putts, it seems to be happening more often than "sometimes". Still that means it is a bug with the Unity engine which seems to have several bugs. He didn't mention what he was planning, if anything to do about it. I put a poll up about this stuff: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/6929/putting-glitches-vote
