Sitting at -14 after the opening rounds (-8 and -6)
I felt like I played better than my score suggested in the first round - should have really been a -10. The second round score was deserved even though it was bogey-free round. I was just never able to get myself into position for realistic birdie chances.
Unfortunately, I feel like I'll be once again sitting on the outside looking in when cut time comes around. That would make it 6-straight missed cuts on the PGA and 7-straight overall. I know I can play much better but I'm consistently not at the moment. My mind is just numb. Someone please save me.

No idea what to do at this point. Play more and try to practice? Just stop playing for a bit and see if that helps? I've tried playing rounds early with no scores to chase and I've tried waiting later in the week to follow the ghosts of the top dogs. I'm pretty lost at the moment. I certainly haven't adjusted to the style of play here on the PGA. The firm conditions destroy me mentally. I am either too short or slightly long and watching my ball roll away for 30-40-50 foot putts. And when I do manage to dial in an approach, I miss the putts. I love the course this week. My favorite that I've ever played on TGC. I knew about 4 holes into my 2nd round I would miss the cut yet again, and just stopped caring. It's tough for me to invest so much time and just keep failing. Making it the PGA was a big goal of mine but some of the fun things available here will never be within reach for me. I don't even expect to win. But I expect to be improving and having good tournaments once in awhile. Every week is just painful. Buy hey, I love this game and this community, so it's not all such a sad song. It's fun to see my buddies here having success. The guys I grew up with on CC and Web tours are competing and starting to make noise - pretty cool. And when someone like Tim gets his first win and publishes a manifesto thank you acceptance speech, it was awesome. Just wish I felt like I was along for the ride instead of watching from a distance - HA!

Cut line is going to be -13 or -14 i think in this one.. Hell it could go as high at -15 you never know.
9 birdies and an eagle first round GREAT! Somehow I managed 5 bogeys as well.... I have no idea what happened there.

65-61-68-66 for me...looks like yet another tourney where I sneak past the cut line and finish near the middle.. This about sums up my rounds on the PGA tour...

Just checked the updated board. I'm at -18 and thinking I might, maybe, possibly, make this cut. I need to start performing because I need some serious FedEx Cup points.
I put up a weak -4 in the third round but still have the dreaded fourth round to play. We'll see what this board looks like on thurs/friday.

After two good opening rounds I was on my way for a Top10 maybe (sitting at T7 right now). Then Rd3 & Rd4 I totally blew up things. A few unlucky bounces, a few miscalculations here and there, and horrible putting all over the course leading to no confidence at all after a couple of holes. And if that wouldn't be enough, the buggy cup physics got me twice during my final rounds (people where watching it on my stream and couldn't believe it either). Wow... I can't tell anybody how pissed I was after that. Well... it is how it is. Looked like a good tournament in the beginning, but after rounds of 67 (-4) and 70 (-1) I finished at -27 which I'm totally pissed about. Not really what you are looking for before going into the next WGC-event.

Who doesn't like a colourful scorecard? Well i think you guys know what i am on about I was playing with your ghost ball and seeing you make a triple-bogey and still beat me by 7 shots during round 2 was not a good thing for my confidence levels. Well done.

Well done. I played his ghost as well, I did precisely what he did the entire hole. I got real greedy from that spot behind the hole, thinking I had a shot at the birdie and ended up a mile away. I 2 putted for bogie, he went back down the hill. Such a fantastic hole, very well done that day.

It was truly wonderful and that triple actually had me laughing and not raging because i knew what a complete idiot i was I think i didn't move my marker back far enough thinking i was going to go way past the hole so i came up way short.

I played with your ghost as well so I had fun making par and then watching both of you go up and down that hill. ...then I cried as both of you kicked my butt the rest of the round.

I have been up close and personal with Ian (no pun intended) and he makes most putts no matter what break which makes me depressed sometimes because I know I will never be at that level of putting. I just want to feel like a winner and I get pretty jealous at times. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing people do well but like I just want to be a winner and am afraid it will never happen.

Not terrible, not great. -10 for round 2. Had 2 bogies as well which didn't help matters. -22 at the turn.
The last 2 rounds are beasts so will somehow have to shoot lights out to have any sort of realistic chance

-5, -10 for the first two rounds. I rage quitted during a par 5 in R3 last night due to missing putts and staying on red slopes (again...). Don't expect the last two rounds to be good when I finish.
