27/31=58 I chipped in twice, flopped in once and had an ace on #13, #13 was a joke btw but I did have an ace on #4. I attacked all flags but made a defensive putt on #15, I had no other choice. I did make a mistake on #5, hitting an 85% PW instead of 71%, I guess I wasn't concentrating fully after the hio. Nice shooting there Mark, I played 2 holes of it jus there thinkin im in a condition to put up a fight but after being +3 after 2 I realised it wasn in my best interest to carry on. I submitted a score anyways that puts an end to the game. Best of luck in the rest of the comp.

Was bogey free in round 4 until I rammed my tap in par down the slop and off the front of 18 green. Flopped back up and two putted for a triple on the last to shoot -6. That is for sure going to hurt. Damn sorry to report sour, but im afraid your 18th hole hiccup has cost you. I managed -8 after some very sloppy putts ending up 40ft away a number of times, but managed plenty of birdies to keep it going too, plus an eagle on one of the par 5s Yeah I figured. I wasn't paying attention as I was trying to get my match with doyley steup. Completely my fault. Good luck to you in the next rounds. It's actually quite funny if you watch it. I was 2 feet away and absolutely smashed the putter haha

Took a practice round at Carolina Low. Didn't know really what to expect. Turns out it is really 100% course management. If you can get it in the fairway, it isn't so bad. I haven't checked the winds for the tourney but this is one of those courses that you can have a great round -7, -10. You can have a shitty round hitting every bunker. For me I think it is going to be a round to try and score on the holes that are fairly easy (some par 3's believe it or not) and try to just hang on without any bogeys.
For the record I went for just about every silly risk I could (mostly on the par 5s) and bogeyed 3 of the four. (heh) still managed a -3 after about 4 bogeys and a double. So opportunity is out there.
Yes, I'm going to practice this.

Psst, this is what I was talking about tweaking things up! It never ends well. It was my own fault. I played it like a course that had been tested. Which IMO makes u a lot more likely to play it safe. I thought I could play the putt very high and lag it. I didn't try to make it. Its my own fault. U play a hole like that (130 yards) it should be tough. I made 6 on a par 3 in a U.S. Open qualifier. Hit it pin high right and there was no way to keep it on the level from there. Rolled it back up the slopes not the putt and it rolled back my feet and made 6. Brutal but just bc it was tough doesn't make it unfair IMO.

Second practice round did much better -10 with about 4 more putts left out there.

I really like the course. Makes you think, and different winds make it a different adventure.

I played so horribly through 11 or 12 holes that I am not going to finish. Free win for Fuzion as long as you finish.

Played mine. Many missed opportunities and some very odd things that happened. On two holes I had a 10 and 11mph wind and in the middle of my shot it dropped to 1 and 2mph. The result was not good.
Not my best round, not my worse.
Just looked at Mark's round. He scored 64. I shot 65. That one putt where I bogeyed #3 on a 3 foot putt that went 2 feet, 11.98 inches cost me.
A bit upset at the two holes with the sudden wind changes #3 and #13 that probably cost me. Oh well.
Good luck!

I went 33/31, apart from one silly drive, where I thought the 10mph wind behind would fly on through the woods to the fairway (I was mistaken and made bogey), my ball striking was great, my putting was mostly average, missing several wonderful opportunities.

Started out pretty good with 2 straight birds and then put one in the water on the approach on 3 with a misjudge on wind for a bogey. Got real hot on the back 9. Will see if it holds up
31 29 for a 60 -12

I'm sorry, I forgot to record my front nine and back nine scores again. Anyway, that was one tough challenge. I finished up with -11. It could have been better, but it could easily been just as worse . Good luck Mr. Gilbert.
