Three teams have now finished: Team 2: 924 points (average of 184.8 per player)Team 4: 901 points (average of 180.2 per player) Team 9: 890 points (average of 178.0 per player) Some metrics to digest... - Number of apologies issued by players for their scores now stands at 17 (38 last tournament)
- 23 rounds posted at 50 points or greater (compared to 22 all of last tournament)
- 2 tournaments posted at 200 better points. 6 players that felt they should have scored 200
- Ian's 206 points still the high water mark to beat
- Tom Humphries 54 is the best round posted so far this tournament
- My round of 55 last tournament is still the greatest posted score in TGCT history for 2016 stableford tournaments. Yep - still holding on to the one moment of glory I'll ever have...
Thanks a lot Yaters. I love the fact that I now know my tournament was way below average! I know you are joking, but maybe this isn't the best metric to show as I think about it. It is interesting to me to see how when scores are posted, what happens to the average score for that team. It is meant to just show how a team has performed as a group rather than call out, good or bad, individual performance. I can take it out in all seriousness if nobody likes it.

Thank you, luckily, on the XB1 my CC, the CUCC just had a tourney there (past weekend), I knew what to expect, and for the most part the winds were low too.

Hey Pablo isn't it great having Lionel Messi ( IJS ) in our team ? I always preferred Iniesta. I thin Ijs thinks the same about having me on board

I just wanted to let you know that this is going to be my last Team Stableford Tourney until further notice. This is not because it wasn't fun, but I can barely make all my rounds a week (EUR, TST, RRCC, Elimination, ...). And with the Majors coming up soon it's probably better for my game to shift down a gear with those "fun community events" and concentrate on the upcoming, official tournaments. You probably don't believe it, but in Season 2 I have not yet played a full practice round for any of the upcoming events. Not for EUR/PGA, not for TST. Just because of lack of time. While I'm still pretty happy with the outcome, I'm changing my preparation for my tournaments now. So thanks for anyone involved for setting this up. Was really fun, and good luck to all for any upcoming Team Stableford Match.

Team 6
Nick Weisgerber 47 47 42 39 ___ 175
Not going to lie I was pretty much speed golfing by the end. I had to get all of my rounds in one sitting and I had troubles staying motivated
Hopefully my team picks me up.

No don't even think about it. You're doing a great job - love the spreadsheet.

I've had a couple of busy days at work, but here is the latest update: Teams now finished:1. Team 2, 924 points, 184.80 avg per player 2. Team 14, 913 points, 182.60 avg per player 3. Team 4, 901 points, 180.20 avg per player 4. Team 9, 890 points, 178.00 avg per player 5. Team 11, 881 points, 176.20 avg per player 6. Team 1, 861 points, 172.20 avg per player Teams not finished:Team 3, 2 players not finished, current avg per player is 177.33 (need 393 points to take the lead, avg of 196 per players remaining) Team 5, 1 player not finished, current avg per player is 180.00 (need 205 points to take the lead) Team 6, 1 player not finished, current avg per player is 175.00 (need 225 points to take the lead) Team 7, 1 player not finished, current avg per player is 176.75 (need 218 points to take the lead) Team 8, 1 player not finished, current avg per player is 182.25 (need 196 points to take the lead) Team 10, 1 player not finished, current avg per player is 182.75 (need 194 points to take the lead) Team 12, 1 player not finished, current avg per player is 179.50 ( 207 points to take the lead) Team 13, 2 players not finished, current avg per player is 184.00 ( 373 points to take the lead, avg of 186.5 per players remaining) 11 players have not posted scores yet! 10 players have not finishedTop Rounds posted so far: Round 1: Tom Humphries, Team 11, 52 points Round 2: Robb Legg, Team 10, 53 points (Ian Sweeney also shot a 53 but graciously agreed to let someone else share the spotlight for a minute. Actually, we didn't talk about it...I've never talked to him...is he a real person?...or is the nickname 'The Machine' more real than we know?) Round 3: Patrick Keehan, Team 11 and Bradley Garcia, Team 3 both had 52 points Round 4: Mark Custard (AKA KramMCDDxiLiiXMMCDSCMMSCSixXiXlLLMCiXXI12345), Team 14, 52 points We also had a new record this week when someone posted their score and apologized THREE times in the same posting. That mark may stand for generations. I also ran some variance analysis to determine if changing courses and conditions impacted weighted average of players as it applied to different time zones, with a cohort analysis applied to time between rounds. The answer to that is 42, which means....no idea
