Hi Folks!
That means: Very fast greens : 144feet--> round about 43m Very slow greens : 101feet--> round about 30m
Even at the last Course my Putter always showed 50-57m, that must be incredible fast! The last Tournaments showed clearely, gamers with mouse and keyboard are on "the dark side of the Putting ind striking moon"
I hope that will change a little after 14th of June

Fastest is 187 and that is by all intents and purposes still not super fast. Simulates about 10-11 on the stimp.

HB claimed in a couple of threads on their forum that the fastest in game is 8 on the meter.
Deduction from some RCRs where greens are made to scale proved that slightly off. It behaves more like 10 or so...
But physics are off in that ball is too "heavy". It should actually stop on some yellow slopes where it does not. I think this is due to HB not taking into consideration that the ball sits down into the green as it loses speed which changes the friction.

My take (opinion of course) is that it would be an impossibility to recreate a real life stimp meter with game coding. If there was a way to simulate its use on a perfectly flat plane in-game, it would have to somehow exactly draw a putter back proportionally to a stimp lift, which doesn't compute in my head anyway. So I take with a grain of salt any attempt to come up with a "number" in relation to the speed of the putting surfaces in game.
In the end it doesn't really matter I suppose.
Then again, I suppose there's a way to geometrically (with physics) determine the speed of a ball off the stimp and calculate roll in game, but I'm certainly no brainiac when it comes to real-life simulations in a console/computer game.

Only place it matters is for the authenticity of RCRs. Since the physics are not so accurate greens should be made to play like the real thing, not to exact scale. This means toning down yellow and red but exaggerating green tilt slightly.

You have to set the marker, or you are dead. That tip alone saved me 10 strokes a round
